Premium 28oz Liquid Culture Kit XL | Easy Spore Germinating & Mushroom Cloning System

I have purchased this item several times and it always delivers. It's a great medium for spore culture expansion to help spore cultures spread further and last longer.

I got this "Liquid Culture"(LC for short) to house and multiple my Ps. Cubensis into a much larger force. I choose a strain called Golden Teachers (GT for short). The LC was nocc'ed up about five to six days ago. It appears to be an amorphous blob that sits at the bottom. However it is mycelium all piled up waiting to be injected into new substrates and all in one bags. The LC is perfect and has driven me to get my own LC mix as well. Thanks for the idea.

Or the two of the LC kits I ordered from Amazon, one had no magnetic stir bar. No, it wasn't stuck to the lid I have a special magnet to solve that problem. The second was contaminated, at first I thought the dark brown color and sediment at the bottom were nutritional products however after three days an very active, repeatedly used and tested culture has yet to show any growth. I just received the replacement and it looks like a jar of water with a magnetic bar inside. I've ordered this product from the company many times with no problems. The jars come with an orangeish/yellow tint with a small amount of insoluble as yet eaten nutrition at the bottom. I wish I sent both jars back for a refund and ordered direct from the manufacturer. I think their rejects get sold on through Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. I inoculated this jar 4 days ago with 1ml of clean liquid culture. This is just 4 days of growth. I will be testing this out on some agar very soon. So far it looks clean and free of contamination.

I have been using Mcyo Labs XL Culture kits for awhile now and want to post a review to say how well these work. I have 6 jars now and all of them are working beautifully. When they arrive, there is a small amount of sediment on the bottom.This is the light malt extract and is actually what the mycelium form around when it germinates. These are the only LC Kits I've seen that on and it is clearly there for a reason. I get the best growth with these jars and only once I had a jar leak, mainly because I saw FedEx toss this box over my fence but they quickly replaced it and haven't had an issue since! I highly recommend! 5-star customer service!

good but no stir rod in the jar again

Very disappointed the magnetic stirrer wasn’t in the jar. With the jar as full as it is i won’t be able to swirl or break up the mycelium without wetting the filter patch and increasing chances of contamination. I’ll have draw a few large syringes before i’m able to stir. Otherwise it’s a great product if it performs.

So easy! No need to pressure cook and mix ingredients. Everything comes sterilized and ready to go. No need to worry about your hard work becoming contaminated. I used 10ml of LC and in 3 weeks I now have 3/4 of a liter. I might not have to find new genetics for years with this product!
