This is my son's favorite stuffed animal - so we had to buy another. It's soft, cute, and actually quite resilient! Unfortunately, my son threw up an entire day's worth of food on it, but after hosing it down and running it through the gentle cycle on the washing machine, it was as good as new. You can't go wrong with this little pachyderm!

I purchased my sons first jellycat stuffed animal when he was 2, and he adores them. Now he’s 8, and still enjoys a “buddy” for cuddling. All of the jellycat stuffed animals are excellent, but the bashful variety are a perfectly huggable size and shape. We LOVE these!

What makes a toddler pick a lovey? My kid had about 20 to pick from, but this one was super-soft (which he preferred to multiple textures). I'm glad this is the one, because it doesn't show stains as easily. Nevertheless, we have 3 of these (one for home, one for day care and one for emergencies and to switch out when a bath is needed). I hand wash, wring in a towel and then blow dry. It isn't as nice as it was before the first wash, but still pretty soft.
