I bought these shoes in size 10 Wide (Bison Brown/Warm Copper) and have been incredibly impressed. Normally, I wear a size 9.5, but since my feet are on the wider side, I decided to size up to a 10 in the wide option based on reviews. Let me tell you, it was the right choice! These shoes fit perfectly.From the moment I slipped them on, they felt like heaven. The quality of the materials is top-notch, and they look amazing. I’ve traveled to China and wore these as my go-to shoes during the Canton Fair, where I walked for three solid weeks. They were super comfortable, offering great support throughout long days of walking. I did notice that after about three hours, they can get a bit warm, but that’s pretty typical with most sneakers. It didn’t bother me enough to be a dealbreaker.What really sold me on these shoes was their waterproof capability. I tried them out in the rain, and they were exactly as advertised—completely waterproof. My feet stayed dry even in a downpour, which is a huge plus for someone who does a lot of outdoor activities or travels in unpredictable weather.What’s even more impressive is that after over a year of wear, they still look brand new. These shoes are incredibly durable and hold up to constant use. Also, I snagged them on sale for a great price, but honestly, they’re worth three times what I paid. They feel luxurious, are well-made, and have definitely earned their place as a staple in my wardrobe.Would I buy them again? Absolutely. Would I recommend them? Yes, especially for those with wider feet. If you’re someone who needs something that balances comfort, durability, and style (plus waterproof protection), these shoes will not disappoint. Just keep in mind that they are a bit on the heavier side, so I wouldn’t recommend wearing them for 7+ hours straight, but for moderate to long walks, they’re perfect. Definitely worth every penny!

I usually don't review much but this is important to those of us that work outside all year.Fit- Little tight on the 9.5 (so I would suggest sizing up to the next 1/2) but the breathable fabric stretches a bit and I don't tie tight so comfort is VERY good.I read meters so I'm on constantly changing terrain. I mostly walk on soaked lawns and in between bushes on roots and mud. Traction is sure footed and good despite a low lug (more like a sneaker sole). These will also pound city side walks all day with great cushioning and bounce back from the heel. LIGHT WEIGHT TOO ! Well made and built like a tank I'd say these make that GREAT all around pair for work. No more changing from sneakers to boots ! It's BATTLE PROVEN !

I purchased the waterproof Plateau sneakers in early January of this year, and now, only two months later, the soles have worn almost entirely through their tread on the front outer portion of both shoes! I know that anyone reading this may think that I’m overusing them or being too rough, but all I’ve done is go walking or hiking in them for 1-2 hours, 4-5 days per week.I contacted Columbia’s customer service through their site, as my return window with Amazon had closed by the time this issue became apparent, and they gave me the runaround and tried to just say that this is normal wear that happens. Normal shoes wear through their soles with light use after two months??? I think not!Now, my only options are to pay for shipping to have these sent to their warranty department and repaired or refunded for vendor credit if they can’t be repaired. That, or I can pay to have them resoled with a higher-quality material locally.I am not pleased with the quality of these shoes at all, and will not buy Columbia again after this. I recommend you look elsewhere if you value shoes that last more than one season.

Shoe was not to size as order or what was labeled on shoe. Order a 14 wide and could not get foot in.
