Beautifully made
Very impressed with the ease to connect the tracks together and trains to carriages. My GrandSon who will be 3 is going to love this set up.

Great addition for a starter set
The set includes a small circular(ish) track layout plus a push along train engine, a goods wagon, a dumper truck, a load that can fit on the wagon or the truck, a short tunnel, a warning sign, and most importantly of all a crane that can pick up and move the load onto the train or truck. All easily operable by a two and a half year old who spent hours playing with this new addition to his Brio train layout.

Make my son angry!
My son loves this but gets really annoyed when the train goes through the tunnel. Then he throws it across the room. Luckily the build is sturdy and it's easy to pick up and out back together.Currently working on redirecting the throwing to soft toys, as I have a chunk of my forward missing, another sign of a firm build.

Well made and easy to set up.
I bought the basic train set as a 2nd birthday present for my granddaughter. She goes to a toddler group and loves playing with the train set there and was overjoyed to get her own. The track fits together well and can be added to with other sets. I got this set because it has a crane and tip-up truck and she’s obsessed with construction toys at the moment and also because she loves anything magnetic. Good value for money and play opportunities.
