My wife purchased this chain in June 2020 and gave it to me for my birthday in Sept.. I've worn it since then. I never shower with it on and I live in Iowa so I haven't sweated much yet it's to cold. Anyway the gold coating on it is just about gone. I can clearly see that it is made of some sort of brass. My wife was so excited to give it to me and now she is heart broken. I know to the average person thinks for that money what do you expect. My wife has hardly purchased any jewelry and doesn't know what the description of gold plating is. ( I'm the one who always buys the bling ) I'm not an expert by any means but I do do a little better job in that area. That's not the point. The point is my wife purchased what she thought was a good gold chain for me for my 66 birthday. I'm sure anyone of you who read this can understand the disappointment my wife has. She purchased what she was a gold chain only to find out 3 months later it wasn't gold at all. Be careful all you ladies and men when you purchase what you think is gold. The price of gold is sky high so you know their not going to give you a FAIR deal when it comes to gold especially gold plated. I'm not sure you can even call it plated.

First off this chain looks really nice, and shines like crazy and anybody wouldn’t doubt that it fake cause it looks real. Also it has a lifetime warranty that for any reason it loses its shine, gets damaged etc you can get it replaced thru there website and registering your jewelry. Jon personally replaced my chain within one day of messaging him, and took excellent care of me which was really a pleasure and really easy. I got my replacement within two days ! To the people saying you don’t get a lifetime guarantee, YOU are wrong. Everything is solid about this chain, just need to see how it holds up overtime, but if it does fade ..that’s where the warranty comes in and I’m confident in wearing this chain knowing if anything happens, I can get a replacement. I’m as satisfied with my purchase as I’ll ever be (:Update: the chain did loose its sheen, it became rough feeling to the touch despite its coating, and the clasp broke on my replacement, but just get in touch with Jon Jr takes care of me everytime 100% satisfied !

No shine, looks like dull metal

It amazes me that a product of this high quality can even have a bad review written. I can only surmise that they must have ordered from one of the knock off brands that use a lot of Lifetime Products Group wording and copycat format to fool the public into thinking they are getting quality jewelry. I my self have had to cancel a order because it wasn't being sold by them. It is so easy to be looking at Lifetime Products Group top quality jewelry and be ready to purchase it and notice what appears to say offers from a other source for a little less money and click over to that thinking its the same jewelry BUT ITS NOT. I've done it myself and had to cancel the order. Just trying to explain what I feel the reason this great manufacture would get a poor review written. There is no way that they should be ridiculed for the quality they produce. I have order from them and others and they are the best for their prices. I am truly being sincere. I hope this helps you make a decision who to buy from...be careful!
