If you are looking for a more cost effective replacement for Natural Calm magnesium powder, please for your own sake continue searching, or just bite the bullet and keep paying the premium for Natural Calm, because this is by no stretch of the imagination a comparable replacement.Simply mix a scoop into water stir to dissolve and drink, per the instructions. Sounds simple enough, right? Once you mix the powder with the water, you will notice the water turns an opaque white. You reason that the solution is simply white rather than clear (as Natural Calm is when mixed with cold water rather than hot) and swallow your glass without a second though. The first half goes down easily enough until you hit the bottom, then you realize: no amount of this powder has actually dissolved in the water, and you are now given the task of having to swallow what is effectively sand.I have tried mixing with hot water, cold water, shaking, mixing with a milk frother... this powder does not dissolve. I fail to understand how those leaving positive reviews have managed to get their powder to dissolve, unless of course they are simply unbothered by swallowing a mouthful of sand.Whoever made the call to market this product as one that can be dissolved in water should be put in a cell and forcefed this sand cocktail.

The product is good, but the bag arrived with a small hole on top, resulting in a bit of powder spilling inside the packet.

I looked forward to trying a small dose, like 2 g, or 3.5 g, of magnesium citrate, to balance off the amount of calcium I was getting from some other items. It took me a while to extract the scoop from the package - and then, once I found it, I saw that it was the size of a half teaspoon. This probably means that the dose one will get from the scoop is about 10.5 mg - well over the 3.5 g amount recommended on the package.
