My cordless drill was useless because the battery could not be charged. I thought the battery was defective and got a replacement. Drill worked until the new battery ran out of juice and it too could not be charged. Apparently, the OEM charger no longer worked. I got this charger and now both the old battery and new battery charges just fine. Quicker than the OEM charger when it was new and working. Drill now works as it should. Although I am not a tech guy. the charger seems well made and works without any issues. I cannot say how long it will last as I only just got it but I expect several years of use. I would recommend.

I got some non-OEM batteries for my Makita impact driver. I also needed a charger to go with them, and this looked like a good deal. It charged the batteries just fine; they filled up to 4 bars, and they lasted just fine in my driver. The batteries slid in and out pretty easily, nothing janky here. Works great.

I have lots of Makita power tools, and several chargers for Makita batteries. Sadly one went bad so I jumped at the chance to order this charger. Makita brand charger AC cords are built in. This charger uses a cord that is detached, and that works for many things like boom boxes, computers and lights. I was surprised by the detachable cord, but through using the charger I can say it works just fine.There are other differences. This one has a charge indicator, a GREAT boon as it lets you see how close the battery is to being charged. That is a huge plus, I can tell you! In operation it is pretty much identical to the Makita brand chargers. There are status light to let you know what is going on, like bad battery, bad charging circuit, etc.This charger charges as rapidly as the Makita chargers. There is little difference in appearance, virtually no difference in operation. I'm impressed! It does a great job, just like the Makita brand chargers. At the price, this really is a good deal!

it charges faster than the stand rapid charger from makita. that I got with a 2 battery purchase in 2021 That is because it is 6.5A and not 4 something? like the makita i think. all i know is a side by side test with same size batteries OEM Makita 4AH batteries this charges a few minutes faster than my older OEM Makita charger I replaced this with. and still have another just like it. I know that is not scientific testing but really world and jobsite is were it matters to me.This meets all industry standards CE, FCC, RoHS I hope LOL and has built in Over-discharge, over-load and short-circuit protection,All Lizone products come with 30 days money back or exchange, 36 months manufacturer warranty and lifetime friendly customer service. Does a fine job charging and cannot tell apart from oem. In addition to the regular status lamps, there is a four bar capacity indicator that is very helpful for when you drop a not-flat battery in and you can see how the charger sees the energy level and then compare to the little button-lights on the battery itself. It also shows you where you are in the charging process which is helpful with larger capacity batteries and the time they consume to get to full power. The detachable cord makes it easy to repair cut/mauled cords as can happen at construction sites and the base is well balanced.

I am using this charger to charge a Makita bl1850 18v battery. The charger works well, doing exactly what it says it will do. It also worked on the nonbrand replacement battery I have. I like the indicator lights on the charger letting me know what its reading on the battery. I initially used this charger inside my house and found the fan to be a bit loud. Not problem once it was moved to the garage. When I ordered the charger it was less expensive than the list price of the OEM.
