Wrong directions label on the unit
I bought the LCD display but the directions label on the unit is for the POINTER display. It is too late to return or I would and get the POINTER display.

Rated for 24 volts ...hummm no!
Came in a box indicating 12 volts but product description claims 6 12 16 24 volt capability. Now the digital meter may be able to handle that but the resistor element draws from what I can determine close to 100 amps on a 12 volt battery so connecting it to a 24 volt battery would definitely make it glow brightly and draw much more than 100 amps. I was expecting a toggle switch that would go 12 or 24 or maybe another switch that would select a higher range for the load but there was none. I'm a little disappointed because I was looking for a 24 volt load that wasn't going to exceed 100 amps to test a LiFePo4 100ah battery pack. Clamps are good quality but wire leads are two conductor paired and seem to handle the load ok.
