I received this as a Christmas gift, which I had suggested. It appears to be well-constructed, and a good value for the cost. I have seen criticisms of similar, more expensive bars that Eze on collars don’t work, but mine work fine on this bar. I have also seen criticisms of the balance of this type of bar. You have to take time to practice with these bars to make sure you have your grip is well-centered. If the grip is not well centered, the bar can be very “tippy.” If you have a history of shoulder injury, this type of bar is ideal.
