I do not recommend purchasing this to use on a chalkboard, chalkboard paint, or anything that you might want to erase because you can not erase it. I am extremely upset because I painted a wall with chalkboard paint, wrote on it with this chalk, and now can't erase it and additional painting over it isn't an option because the paint will not stick over this chalk. I have written on this paint with some old school chalk and it erases fine.

Great idea but this is not chalk, it's like a crayon and cannot be wiped off with an eraser. You must use water or a mix of water and soap. They do come off tile, granite and laminated table top. Overall good product.

Good colors writes light but I do like that. It has the cover so it doesn’t get on your hands.

I got this dustless chalk and a chalkboard for some toddlers for Christmas. This chalk is the only way to go. It keeps their hands clean and thus, their clothes and the furniture stay clean. Each one is contained inside a plastic holder. It’s easy to write with them. There are many different colors.

Our 6 year old can draw on the chalk board door having fun without making any mess on his hands and no dust drops down into the carpet. The colors are vibrant

Chalk does not come off with wiping or with a wet cloth.
