A fun virtual pet, with three pets, which are easy to look after
This is a cool little virtual pet that is just as good as any alternative. However, this one is perhaps better value for money, as you get three pets to look after as time passes. Also, these pets don't die. They can escape and be recaptured, and maintain any progress they made. Although it does seem the older they get, the harder they are to keep happy, and by that time, you have three to manage. The pixel animations are surprisingly impressive, and you get some interesting interactions when healing them or feeding them, or more.

So bad
I gave this tamagotchi to my nephew as a gift on 06/18/25 he turned it on and on 06/26/25 he no longer got a battery

the sweet spot of digital pets
more complicated than a tamagotchi, but not as intense as a digimon, this is the nice sweet spot for wanting something to occupy the idle times of the day that doesn't involve doomscrolling

Came with dead battery!
Came with a dead battery. Pathetic. I got sealed R2D2 Giga Pet the other day, it's 30 years old and the battery it came with works perfectly. Why do they put such worthless garbage batteries in thighs these days? Every year everything just gets worse and worse.
