I have a weather station and the outdoor sensors are powered by solar panels. Even though the panels are designed for outdoor use I have had a couple leak in heavy storms. These boxes will put an end to that! They are very strong, seal tightly, and the clear top allows the panel to receive full sunlight. The plastic the sensor is made of deteriorates after years exposed to the elements and this box protects them and the batteries and circuitry inside. If the box eventually breaks down the solar panel will still be like new and I can move it to a new box. The boxes are made of thick, strong plastic that is very sturdy with a thick seal and sturdy latches. The box comes with mounting ears for easy attachment to the roof or wherever you decide to mount it. I am very happy I found these boxes with a clear top and strongly recommend them if you need a sturdy box.

Seems to be well built and the grid mount in the back is stellar. Hinges are solid and latches do their jobs too. A good value

Very satisfied with the quality of the enclosure and its sub-panel. It satisfied my fit and function expectation for my application.

By itself, and until you open it, this box is perfectly watertight. The gasket is strong and continuous, the latches are tight, the box itself, and attachment points, are secure.The problem comes when you open the box if it has been raining (I live in a rainforest, so this is like a daily occurrence...) There is a lip they molded above the top edge (latches on the side.) This was obviously to deflect the most downward rain from the most vulnerable top edge gasket. Makes sense. However, this small gap also collects rain by wicking. So when you open the tight box, with water in this small gap, it splatters into the box, inside.Depending on what you got in your box (how sensitive are your electronics, or whatever you're stashing?), Several drops of water splash into the box upon opening (not before or during any rain.)So I made a simple fix. I took some heavy plastic film (heavy enough not to be affected by any elements, supple enough to drape) and taped it behind that ledge they made, and draped it over the door. Doesn't get blown up by wind, easy to flip up when I need to get into the box.You will need to do this also if you need a really waterproof box.Otherwise, the box itself is great and looks destined for long life.

I've got a Blink Security Camera system on a larger piece of property with outbuildings. The sync module was inside my metal barn and I was having difficulty getting cameras at further distances to function correctly. I contacted Blink Customer Support but none of their suggestions worked so I had an idea to mount the sync module on the outside of my metal barn and up higher on the barn and now all of my cameras work great with no issues. I've not yet installed any cameras inside the barn to fully test it but it's a 10+ on how it improved the connectivity issues when the sync module was inside the barn.

This was the first enclosure of this kind I ever ordered, and it turned out better than I expected. It looks great, the door can be easily removed to make it easier to work with, drilling through the plastic is very easy as well and leaves clean, burr free round holes. I used a small drill first then a step bit to enlarge to required size. Would buy again.

This is a good made box. Definitely sealed water tight. Just make sure if you put any holes in it for mounting purposes to use a good sealant. I used sikaflex since this was a marine install. Also use dielectric grease where wires pass through the grommet and I even add silicone once the cap is screwed on at the wire entry. It does include all the hardware for install. I chose to replace some of the hardware that was not stainless steel with my own stainless fasteners. The hinges are stainless steel though.
