I've bought this oven because the traditional one is quite old and slow. Living in a rented flat means not being able to change appliances as my taste so I got this one instead.it perfectly substitute the big oven, it saves energy and bills cause it gets hot In 1 minute or so (180°) the oven comes with different accessories, all useful a part the crappy tongs that I bin pretty quick. There is no lid older so be careful how you handle the hot lid and where you put it.It doesn't really wash itself. You fill it with water and the oven warm it up. That is not washing to me. I usually take it and wash it properly in the sink. It's heavy but still manageable and quicker/better than clean the normal oven.I'm looks safe to use, just check that the wire doesn't touch the bowl when or it will be ruined as the oven gets pretty hot.I cook chicken drumstick in 35 minutes, same for roast potatoes and lasagne or other mixed vegetables. It's quicker with fish. I also cook 2 different things without any problem and the tastes don't mix.I've read people saying that they cook cakes too. I've tried twice with two different cakes and it didn't work so not sure what kind of cake they bake in it. I would try muffin but I wouldnt try other cakes as I ended up using the big oven to cook the bottom.Inside you can fit a round tray of 23 cm, or more if smaller.Very useful and great quality.Hope the review was helpful

I had a JML Halogen oven for years but the fan started to make a lot of noise, so I decided to buy a new oven. I had wanted another JML but they weren't in stock anywhere and, as I really can't do without a Halogen oven, I bought this one instead. It doesn't seem as sturdy as the JML one but, apart from that, it seems to work just as well. I don't know if it will last as long but it was good value for money.

This was a replacement for my daughter. Her one broke and she had it for nearly 8 years. Excellent value for money and was so happy I could get the same one. Food cocks quickly and efficiently.

Fast delivery, good, efficient product, looks good on worktop. At first couldn't find the plug, was hidden underneath, but found it. Easy to use, especially for an 80 year old pensioner on my own, who finds a standard oven difficult to use with arthritis.So far very happy with it.

The oven would switch off & report E1, I should have returned it, on inspection found 2 bolts missing from the heat shield protecting the lamp !, I was able to replace those , tried the oven again still cut out after a few seconds with the same E1 report, returning it to uk would be difficult from the Channel Islands.So investigated further and found that a connection plug from a heating sensor to the main circuit board had been forced together bending one of the pins out of position, I was able to correct its Alinement & reconnect it.On assembly & testing the oven now works ok.Found the missing bolts lose inside?. The hinge arrangement is wobbly & week!.I would add that the entire hinge arrangement is very poorly designed & will need to be treated gently.

Just what I needed. Works well. No frills, just a great little oven.

love halogen ovens, they heat up instantly, no waiting for it to get to temp, you can see what is happening inside with ease, they are also easy to clean, and i think healthy to use i use it for everything from bacon to chips, and i love the racks, i can cook anything and it sits above the natural oils/fats that collect.
