This is an excellent multipurpose gear bag. It works well for DJ equipment and cords, but I recently started using mine for gaming gear. My cords are in a larger bag, and the HOMFU bag works more appropriately for this task. The material is decent quality, the zippers work well, and the velcro is strong. There is plenty of room, and the inserts can easily be adjusted to keep your gear just as you packed it.It can be carried by handles or using the adjustable shoulder strap. The price is a little higher than I believe it should be, which is the reason for the four stars. The inserts add a bit of padding to keep everything safe, and it's easy to use.

I purchased it because I needed something to keep all my DJ equipment organized during events, and I was not dissapointed. It has plenty of space for various cables, controllers, and other gear, which helps me to keep everything in place. The detachable padded bottom dividers are a real bonus because they help to create customized sections that suit all my equipment perfectly, making it easier to access my things when I'm in a hurry. The bag itself is made of durable material, and you can tell it's built to last, even with constant use. It’s not too heavy when fully packed, and I found the straps comfortable to carry. I was worried about the size initially, but once I packed everything in, I realized there’s plenty of room without it feeling too bulky. One thing I’d recommend though is to make sure you’re packing things efficiently since the internal compartments work best when you keep your gear compacted. My only suggestion is that the zippers could be a little smoother; sometimes they catch a bit, but that’s not a huge deal. This bag is very well made, the stitching is strong and the pockets are very well laid out. We got this to organizer the audio cables we take to small gigs and sort all of the random adapters we cary based on clients needs. We are able to put plenty in the and many long XLR cables and small mixer. However the dividers are straight trash, there is no support in them and the velcro to attach them is only a thin strip at the top and bottom. I will be replacing these or at least putting cardboard inside them.

It feels a little cheap and I feel it's too expensive for what it is. That said, it holds a lot of cables.

I previously ordered one of the Homfu DJ High Capacity Band Equipment Bags for review sometime last year and have been extremely pleased with it for storing cables, mics and a few other items. These bags are very durable and stand up well during travel. When I ordered this one to review, I didn't realize it was the same brand from before and is pretty much identical. I do know from some of the other reviews that the velcro dividers may take some time to get used to. But once mine was set up with "a place for everything, and everything in its place" approach, these gig bags are worth their weight in gold. It took a bit of finesse to get the velcro dividers spaced just right, but they seem to get stronger over time with use, and retain a bit of placement memory, especially if you don't try to overload them from the start.I really like the construction of the Homfu DJ High Capacity Band Equipment Bag for its lightweight footprint and materials used, and for the price point compared to a hard road case, you just can't beat it. The double zippered construction is well done as are the additional pouches, one on each side that close with velcro. There are also two zippered enclosures on the front that are very handy for items such as short, specialty cables, pens, flashlights, picks, etc. or perhaps even a slimline SM57 mic (in its own separate pouch) that I've used from time to time. Even more storage available when you open the front facing double zippered enclosure revealing four individual pockets also useful for smaller items. Homfu has provided a lot of these useful smaller zippered enclosures just about everywhere on this bag. I found no flaws in the stitching or workmanship.Carrying the Homfu DJ High Capacity Band Equipment Bag to and from wherever you are going is a breeze with an adjustable shoulder strap, or you can pack it in one hand with the handy carrying handles that fasten together with velcro. Overall, this is a real nice bag that if you take good care of it, it will take good care of you. And to that point, it is stylish enough in a sense where I wouldn't be embarrassed using it as a travel or overnight bag. I would recommend the Homfu DJ High Capacity Band Equipment Bag to anyone who needs a good quality storage bag for whatever they want to put in it. Great product!Five Stars
