Simple setup, easy to use and does exactly what it says on the tin!
I'd seen quite a few negative reviews for this product but thought I would give it a go because: a) it seems to be the only product on the market that allows you to play Spotify songs offline without a phone and b) I was hoping the negative reviews were the minority of people who have an issue with theirs. Most negative reviews seem to be around setup, which I found very simple using the Mighty app on iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 16.Haven't taken it on a run yet but I've charged, synced and played my first songs through it - so far very good!

Do not buy
I don't normally write reviews but I feel compelled to do so because of:1) how misleading the description is for this product,and2) the fact that the device doesn't actually work. This device will only attempt to sync playlists that you have compiled yourself if you have Amazon Music Unlimited. If you only have Amazon Music (eg through having an Amazon Prime subscription), then you cannot sync your own music playlists. The only playlists available to you are ones that Amazon Music have generated based on similar tracks to what you might like (half of them will be junk). It is a particular issue if you're purchasing this for a child (like I did) who will likely have different music tastes to yourself. Their playlist of the songs that they like will not be able to be synced onto the device. The requirement for an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription for this device to function as described (ie syncing/ playing your own playlists) is not mentioned anywhere on their website. When I surrendered to the fact that I could only sync Amazon generated playlists, I then discovered that only 1 song (out of the 25 on the playlist) had successfully synced onto the device. I tried it multiple times, and the same result occurred. There is no phone number in their customer service, so you have to resort to their AI generated response email service. The result is that there is no resolution, no empathy, and no accountability.I have no choice but to return the product. Very upset as it was bought for my son's birthday present.

Great screen free device - light and practical.
I really love this device. I have been looking to reduce my reliance on screens, and wanted something simple to play my Spotify and podcasts on.I like that the battery lasts a good while, and then recharges super quickly (fully in about an hour). It looks really cute, and it's so light you can clip it easily to clothes (or your work lanyard as I often do!). Initially I found the controls confusing, but it's just a matter of getting used to something physical rather than yet another screen.I had a small problem with the headphone jack and customer services were really outstanding. It seems to be a small business with real humans to help you out if you have any issues.I bought another one for my son as I want him to have access to music on the go, but I don't want to give him a smartphone. He loves it!If you are looking for something simple that can stop you staring at screens and going into some instagram hole when you just wanted to play your songs, this is a great option.

Good, but flawed
Got this as part of my desire to go phone free. By switching to a dumb phone I thought I still wanted to have music. Part of my problem was that most of my music collection is now on Spotify. Which obviously meant I needed some form of device that could play this music. Hence buying the Mighty. Also I thought it would be quick and easy, but this turned out to be much more glitchy than expected.First you sync your phone to it - I synced it to my phone, Mac book and iPad without issues using the app. Next you can sync your headphones either Bluetooth or wired obviously and next comes difficult trying to synchronise your playlists. It’s at this point point that I should probably point out that I have a computer science degree and teach technology for a living and I’ve previously worked as a sysadmin. So in principle, it’s quite quite straightforward. It already has access to your Spotify so all you do is select the playlist that you’d like to synchronise to your Mighty. The mighty holds about 1500 songs. What’s that? Sounds great however in practice it turned out to be less than Stellar. The biggest issue is the fact that even when it was connected to a really strong Wi-Fi network and My Phone was really close by it took forever to synchronise even the smallest playlists for example a 13 song playlist took nearly 40 minutes to synchronise. This is just too long.I thought that it might have been my Internet connection, so I tried it at work where we have one gig per second Internet it was exactly exactly the same. So it turned out that it definitely wasn’t the Internet connection that was the issue and it’s more likely to be the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connection on the Mighty itself. I think this is likely acknowledged by Mighty as they have promised to improve the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections in future updates using the software however I can’t feel entirely confident that these issues will be resolved as I think they’re more likely to be hardware issues than software issues. There is an awful lot they’ve tried to fit into a very small package. So whilst I’m really really happy with the design of the product and really happy with what it looks like in practice it just isn’t living up to expectations, and that’s why I returned it. I think I’ll probably go back to my original iPod that also doesn’t rely on a Spotify subscription.
