Rejuvenate your dodgy Avid Elixirs
My 2009 Avid Elixir R brake levers started to develop excessive play due to the plastic collar at the end of the piston assembly wearing (not a very clever or robust design, if I'm honest). Brake lever is now good as new - I fitted the internals myself with little difficulty though a few good bleeds are needed to get the brakes performing properly - get your local friendly bike shop to do this if you don't fancy faffing about and swearing in the garage for 4 hours! Certainly cheaper than changing from Avids to Shimano XT (though I'm still tempted!)

Serviced the lever with this kit and after a rebleed of the brake fluid they were like brand new again

No issues with the product itself but When I ordered it on the 4th april and it stated it'll be delivered by 8th April but after purchase it changed to the 14th April and the seller kept blaming the bank holiday find it elsewhere for your convenience

Does the job but expensive for what it is
I was able to fix my brakes using this kit. But I have to say, having seen the inner workings of the Avid brakes I have no confidence they will last very long. Over engineered with what look like fairly flimsy parts. So yes the part was fine, but I will replace the Avid brakes at some point in the future Avoid them on any new cycle.
