We were pleasantly surprised one this one. We looked at them all and actually decided on the less expensive stand because it appeared to have a better flag position retainer. The rest of this stand was exactly like the higher priced stand so it turned out to be the little things that got our attention. While the higher priced stand use a cheap rubber washer to position the flag this one uses a nice solid plastic tensioned clip that will last a long time and not need replacing. Best of all is the fact that it assembles easily and breaks down for storage quickly. All-in-all a good buy. For once the old adage, you get what you pay for" does not apply here. We paid for the less expensive and got a superior product.

I really liked the ease of assembly and the metal anti-wind clip. The flag slipped right on, and the clip holds it securely.However, unless you really tighten the two parts of the pole, the top loosens up in a strong wind. Regardless, for the price it is a great garden flag pole-holder.

I got one for myself and like it enough to buy another for a gift.There are three pieces which screw together easily.I did find that on a windy day the rod pivots, so it has become looser on one of the sections.I'll take it apart and put a drop of "Blue Locktite" on the threads. (Blue locktite, inexplicably, comes in a red tube, is intended to be removed if necessary.)

There is nothing wrong with this product, made well, good price. However! The way it is designed for easy shipping, the item has two threaded sections and they have to be assembled and tightened. The problem this causes is, when the wind is blowing the flag, the threaded sections come loose and the flag will then act like a weather vane and if allowed to spin around, eventually it will unscrew and fail. One other issue is, proper flag display rules, the American Flag should be displayed with the Stars on the left. Once the threaded sections come loose and the wind changes, the flag is displayed backwards.The easy solution for me was to purchase a second stand and run it on the other side of the flag and use the clamps to pin down both sides of the flag at the bottom. Now the American flag is displayed properly and will not spin in the wind. Since the flag is not flapping in the wind, I think the flag will be less likely to fray and overall will last longer in the outdoor weather.Flag Set is not as big as pictured and I have included a 1 gallon jug of wiper fluid to help show scale of the items.

They had this garden flag stand on markdown sale for a few days as amazon does often with items, and since I am constantly buying outdoor decor I had a flag for my military memorial items I needed them for, and I am so glad I bought this one! It not only had the flag holder but the stopper and clip to keep the flag in place so I didn't have to buy those separately! It makes them so much more easier to manage and this one was sturdy! Recommend!

Nice and easy to put together

Looks great in garden.

The garden flag stand is a little wobbly.But since I only put my team flag out on game days it will suffice.
