Recording/Playing is amazing for someone just getting started or returning to cassettes!
Some of yall are tripping. This cassette player/recorder is amazing. Is it the best quality out there? I have no idea this is my first decent one. I will say I purchased another top rated brand from amazon that was technically a converter, and that was Nintendo Ds speaker like when it came to quality. I am just wanting to record a playlist here and there to a tape and start a collection of tapes and be able to listen to them. Re Are Rewind shouldn't get that much hate from the cassette community. This cassette player is great for the price compared to some "vintage" ones I have seen on Ebay. I do not think the cassette community really understands who this product is for, it seems to me to be targeted towards a newer audience who would like to experience cassettes for the first time or revisit them. I have listened to Spotify for years and honestly can't really tell a difference other than a small "hissing" sound, but that isn't really noticeable. I have a few songs on Spotify that already add that "hiss" near the end of a song for the vintage feel. I almost didn't buy this product because the reviews made it seem like it was another crappy cassette player that you couldn't enjoy. Reddit made it seem like recording on one of these was gonna be the worst mistake I ever made, that is not my experience. I saw a comment saying We Are Rewind are a bunch of hipsters who wanted to cash in on cassettes, but the irony is that comment is coming from people who only buy old *ss players so they can look like they are from the 80's. Hipsters calling other people hipsters is crazy. I personally am glad I spent the money on this device, I'd rather support a company that is currently producing new cassette players so they can see the demand and possibly get the money or connections needed to make cassette players with all the cool features they had before but with a modern twist. I don't understand how only buying used players or decks is gonna help this dying form of entertainment. Sony is clearly not gonna make Walkmans anytime soon, they blew up with all the shows featuring cassettes and can clearly see the demand for the old Walkmans on Ebay, yet didn't cash out. I have been given two Walkmans by family members and they always have a broken belt. I could fix it, however I'd rather buy a newer one vs a $700 "vintage" deck that is parts only.

Great build quality, works well
Surprised my father with this as he has many tapes, self made and bought, but cannot play them when he most wants to: in the car, walking outside, etc. He absolutely loves it and now rolls deep with about twenty tapes in the backseat.Build quality is fantastic. It feels sturdy with some reassuring weight but not in an unwieldy way.Bluetooth has had some issues connecting at first but got there eventually with no problems once paired.Sound quality is ok: definitely turn it up on your Bluetooth or output source before turning it up on the player itself to decrease any hissing. No complaints on battery life or charge time.

Retro stylish, bulky, clear sound
I liked the product appearance and how it was packed, really stylish, takes you back in years, nostalgic.Sound via wired headphones is good, clear, I can hear the space, all sounds and instruments are distinguishable. Normal amount of lower frequencies. Maybe for my taste not enough higher frequencies. Wireless option and recording options are just nice to have, but I'm not gonna use them...In terms of what could be done better:- Buttons are really hard to press (really!), which I didn't really like.- Buttons really stick of, so accidentally they can be pressed while wearing in pocket (especially record button, which can spoil tape)- It's really big (really!!), so not quite comfortable to keep it in pocket, and use on the go- While playing, if you rotate it, this affects sound, as if mechanisms inside are not installed tightly, so tape can move from the right place for 2 seconds, and then return back

Sturdy case, great sound
This is a quality product with a sturdy, well made metal case. Very good sound quality, full, rich base and clear undistorted high sound spectrum. I was very impressed, sounds as good as any high quality portable tape player from the 80's. The rechargeable battery is a big plus and lasts for many hours.

Great Player Bluetooth is a bit tricky to get going
Great Player for the money. High quality has some hefty to it. Plays Great took me a while to figure out the Bluetooth but mostly use wired going into the headphone jack but Bluetooth is handy to have on board. Love playing and collecting cassetes makes me feel like a kid cause all my allowance could afford instead of the new CDs that were coming out at the time.

Omg! Buy right NEOW!
Great quality, sturdy, sound quality superb. Bluetooth works like a charm and most of all it takes you back. You’ll be obsessed with trying to find cassettes on eBAY and Tapeheadcity (hint:).

Works great, when it works
This came highly recommend, considering the price. I bought one that stopped working within 2 weeks of use. The Heads completely locked in place and no matter which button I pressed, nothing happened. It was also fully charged. Thankfully, this unit was replaced. The second player worked for about 4 months and then one day, the same thing happened. No seeming cause either time. Neither player was abused or dropped or damaged in any way. When it works, it plays tapes well. One out of 10 tapes would not play well, the would drag. I play tested the tapes on another player and they were fine. The recording feature was pretty good too. The Bluetooth was ok, sometimes it had difficulty connecting to my pods, or maintaining a clear connection.I looked on the website for a way to connect with the company, but couldn't find an email address. So, if you have better luck than me, this player will be well worth it. I guess I just lucked out and got 2 of the defective players.

The final evolution of the cassette player
Yes, you can buy a very cheap cassette player at the flea market, however the elastic bands will be worn out and your music will not sound great. This cassette player sounds amazing, has that typical cassette player charm, while being comfortable with modern tech. It's also built to last
