Back healer
This chair is amazing. Super comfortable and keeps my back aligned through the entire work day. Bought a second one.

Perfect after some modifications
My DXRacer chair broke after 8 years so I figured this would be a nice upgrade. However, I have been using a headrest for years and couldn’t sit comfortably on this chair. Until I got the headrest from Atlas Headrest, then it’s so much better. Another issue I was having was the gap between the back and the seat. I’m 6 feet tall and have to move the seat all the way out resulting in the huge gap in the back, which made me feel like I was falling off in the back. I put an old headrest from my old chair in the gap so I can’t feel the gap anymore. Other than these two things, the chair is perfect. Very very comfortable. The seat was kind of hard at first, but softened significantly after a week.

Great chair
After having it, the struggle to find the best chair is over. It’s everything I’ve been looking for and I love it, came fully assembled, lumbar support is absolutely great. It’s comfortable, armrest is fully adjustable.

Fantastic Back Legitimately Frustrating Seat
This chair was supposed to be the one. The back is the best I’ve used & I’ve used all the premium competitors at this point. The seat though, is anger inducing if you’re taller. You’ll have to extend the seat depth, & you’ll get a very large seat gap. When you sit in the chair you’ll just be sitting on the back edge of the seat, horrible…If the chair was longer & better implemented for adjustments it’d be the chair to get. It’s ironic cause the back is higher which is good for tall people but the chair seems almost certainly for shorter lighter folks. Honestly disappointed with this one..

Great value for a high-end, unique, ergonomic office chair!
As a dedicated work-from-home professional, I spend 8-12 hours daily in my office chair. At 6' tall, 150 lbs, with long arms and an appreciation for ergonomics, a comfortable and supportive chair is paramount. After a decade with a basic, sub-$200 chair from Costco, I upgraded to a Herman Miller Embody five months ago—a chair I still adore. Now, thanks to the Amazon Vine program, I've had the opportunity to rigorously test the Haworth Fern.Let me be clear: The Haworth Fern is an amazing, high-end, and very adjustable chair. It's meticulously crafted with premium materials and boasts an impressive 12-year warranty. If you're in the market for a top-tier office chair, I highly recommend exploring the many in-depth video reviews available online to fully appreciate its capabilities. Here are my firsthand impressions after using the Haworth Fern for several days. The chair arrived fully assembled in a massive box, but it was lighter than the Embody and much easier to carry upstairs. Haworth's online setup and adjustment video was incredibly helpful for fine-tuning my seating position. The 4D adjustable armrests are fantastic. As someone with long arms, I need them to lower enough for relaxed shoulders and a 90-degree elbow bend, and the Fern delivers! While they slide around a bit, this is a minor trade-off for their overall versatility. They're especially useful when I'm just reading or using my iPad. (For comparison, the Embody's armrests are slightly larger and squishier, but offer fewer adjustments. Both are a premium material.)The Fern's back is exceptional. Even without the added lumbar support, it provides great overall support and flexes with you. While I'm used to more aggressive lumbar support, my entire back feels cradled and supported regardless of my movement. It's similar to the Embody's exoskeleton design, but the Fern's is more flexible, lighter, and features a softer, more padded 3D quilted texture. Adjusting the recline tension and limit is straightforward, though not something I change often. The seat is a traditional memory foam design that offers excellent support, and you can easily slide it in and out to fine-tune lumbar positioning. I have a slight preference for the Embody's seat, but that's likely due to familiarity. The casters and base roll smoothly and look good. While the Herman Miller base has a bit more flair, you'd only notice it side-by-side. The Fern, despite its distinct back, has a more traditional appearance than the Embody.Overall Conclusion: The Haworth Fern is a truly great chair. I consider it a better value than my Herman Miller Embody, but at this price point, it really comes down to which specific features matter most to your individual needs. Neither chair will disapoint!

Engineered Just Right
The media could not be loaded. I feel this chair might not be good for everyone’s body shape, but this chair does have some bonus points and is certainly worth trying it out and they certainly are behind their product with a 12-year warranty. The back of the chair is ultra soft and feels like a cozy blanket against your back and is quite adjustable to swing back and bounce back effectively and even lock it in positions. It is durable with soft material to the back of the chair and probably can handle heavy load bearing easily. It allows excellent breathability to my back and feels amazing pressed up against my back and cradles my entire back and neck with that tall height and softness. It all depends on the shape of our body and our preference. For me this chair fits amazingly but I’m only 119 lbs. and slim build and not too tall. The back of the chair is made of high-density foam that contours to your back. It has a high level of customization due to the flexible expandable plastic enclosure for the back and might be great for those that suffer back pain. With that clever design of the plastic that is molded into one piece it cradles your entire back that gives you superior support and comfort even while moving around in the chair and sitting for extended periods. The back height is suitable for many different sizes of back shapes and weight. With that clever design of the plastic this thick sheet is not only supported for your upper back but also your lower back as well that provides comfortable support all day. The seat has a nice thin profile that is firm. I would rather have a firmer seat because if the seat is too soft and deep, I feel it won’t help with lower back pain much that might come in later. The seat can be easily adjusted by sliding back and forth or up and down to your preference. The seat is perfect for my body shape, not being too wide and my arms are aligned with the arms of the chair. The armrest is cool and can easily be adjusted up and down, back and forth and slides out wide left to right, However I feel the armrest would have been more comfortable with a thin padding on top. I tell you I’m still waiting on an office chair that can be adjustable that widen out with the seat and the back from one end of the chair. Because some people have a wider frame than others. The material chosen for the seat is nice and rigid and keeps me from rolling around in the chair like some other slippery office chairs sometimes will do. The chair is made with water-based materials which makes it a highly breathable chair and healthier. The chair spins great and the castors are flexible and durable. Overall, I feel some might feel this chair is a B chair and some might feel it’s an A chair. For me it’s an A chair and I’m excited so I’m going to give it 5 stars.
