Exactly what we needed. We have this placed at the top of our stairs and it worked out perfectly. It was easy to install. Looks nice, doesn’t have a bulky appearance. Makes it easy to close the stairs off from our little one. The mesh part of the gate is sturdy so she won’t be able to just pick it up and go underneath. It unrolls very smoothly and just overall pleased with this product. Would definitely use this over traditional baby gates

This baby barrier/gate is very sturdy! I purchased it to keep our young dog out of the dining room.....where she'll chew on a carpet if left unattended. This gate was a perfect solution! It's easy to install......lots of hardware included.....and adjustable. Once installed it's very easy to use and was the perfect solution. I highly recommend this product....not just for a pet barrier but for protecting small children/babies from getting into spaces that would be a potential problem.Best gate/barrier I found!

It was easy to install, looked clean and minimal, and was simple to open and close with one hand—which is a lifesaver when you're carrying a kid or laundry.2. Product PerformanceFor the time we had it, the gate held up great. It retracted smoothly, stayed locked in place, and created a safe barrier without being bulky. Unfortunately, our dog had other plans. After a few days of peaceful coexistence, he decided to chew through the mesh. So now we’re shopping for another one—but we’ll be keeping this one higher or using it in dog-free zones next time.3. Work great. Look great. Easy install. Bought to keep dog from entering various rooms and “relieving” themselves on the hard wood. So it just decided to pee on the gate. I can’t win.

Easy to install and easy to use.I can hook it and unhook it with one hand.It doesn’t have anything that has to stay in the floor or across the hallway. It doesn’t have two little hooks that protrude into the hallway and I hate those but it could be a lot worse. Good product. I’ve only had it for a week, though, so I don’t know how it will hold up.

The gate's performance is highly satisfactory, as evidenced by a repeat purchase. Installation is straightforward, facilitated by the use of a drill. The latching mechanism is also user-friendly.This product is highly recommended for managing children and pets.

Was really looking fwd to this gate. Saw it in a home where i was house-sitting and went out and bought it the next week. One that's not listed in the description and this would have been helpful before buying... But the instructions say the gate must only be fixed to a solid and secure surface. DO NOT INSTALL ONTO SHEETROCK OR GLASS would have been nice to see up front and not buried in the install mounting hardware kit. Sheet rock is what's in the condo except for some metal supports but not close to where the gate would be installed. 3 stars bc of the glaring omission of a very important fact. Gate works great at my friend's house but not suitable for my space bc of sheet rock.
