I used these on the bottom of a very old toy box, to protect new hardwood . They hammered in easily, and the box slides nicely

Wow! For years I’ve used the felt covers on the bottom of my chair legs. Inevitably, they don’t last long and attract hairs and dust. Gross! Many times, they fall off without me knowing and my hardwood gets scratched to pieces!I am so thankful to have stumbled across these in my search for more felt protectors. They just make sense. They were super simple to hammer into each chair leg and the chairs slide with ease. Better yet, these are durable!!!!!!I should have bought these years ago and saved money and stress

We've gone through a lot of nail-on chair glides over the years - felted, plastic, etc. These seem to be fine. they are molded plastic around a short nail head with a second, with either an attached or over-molded smooth supposedly PTFE sliding surface. this gliding surface is hard enough that you can not dent it easily so unlikely to pick up and collect debris that might scratch hardwood floors.They come in a very nice ~3x4x1" clear plastic clam shell case (that we intend to repurpose) and all the pointy ends have easy to remove protective covers (thank you!)The 6-chair count in the package was as advertised (again, thank you!) and the finish as far as mold marks etc is good.These glides appear to be able to tolerate an acceptable amount of light hammer tapping to install but certainly plan on drilling 1/16th pilot holes to get them started as suggested in the instructions.
