Wow! What a beautiful singing bowl set! I am SO HAPPY! The bowl is so unique as it is hammered, which is the original way of making the singing bowls. Each bowl has a very unique one of a kind look to it. Each bowl will be different, as they are all handmade. The pillow (which was found wrapped up inside of the bowl, if you don't see it right away) is so very beautiful and it is very well made and with nice material. The pillow is nice for displaying your bowl and for putting your bowl on the pillow as you play it it; or you can play the bowl in the palm of your hand, just making sure that your palm is flat and do not let your fingers touch around the bowl as it will mute and distort the sound. The mallet is made of nice and very sturdy wood, it has the the felted end for the "tapping" of the top edge of the bowl (felted as to not harm the bowl when tapping) and the other end is a wider continuation of the wood (for going around the he rim to make the bowl sing). It is a nice size as it fits nicely in the palm of the hand. It has such a beautiful, harmonious and enticing sound quality and it really works. When I am using the bowl, without the pillow, I can feel the vibrations from the bowl. When I am using the bowl, I use the "tapping" to get others attention, to signal a start, or a change of session and an end to a session. I use the "singing" of the bowl for mindfulness, meditation and harmonious vibrational energy. This would also be a great purchase for yoga, meditation, self awareness time and more. I am so very happy with my purchase. I highly reccomend this bowl!! I look forward to using it for many, many years to come! Silent mind also has a great customer service as they sent me an email first and foremost making sure that I knew my bowl was on the way. I then received another email making sure that I did in fact receive my bowl and making sure that I was happy with my purchase. They are concerned on making you happy, I really liked that and made me feel special. In the email they sent me it included an attachment with information on how to use the bowl, how to take care of the bowl, the many uses for it, the intentions behind it , the history behind the bowl, gives you tips on uses and much more. I really appreciated their customer service and me not feeling like I am just another "sell" for them. I am SO very happy with my purchase. The bowl sounds nice and looks fine.

I bought this bowl for my son after having bought one for myself. I absolutely loved the way mine sounded and how soothing it is. My son received his and when he began using it I thought it sounded very high pitched. We compared the two bowls and sure enough it did in fact have a higher pitch.Now because they are ALL different I I didn’t expect they would sound alike. I also didnt expect that the second bowl would sound so shrill to me. The second bowl definitely didn’t bring me to a peaceful state the way the first bowl did. I was going to send it back for a replacement when my son let me know that he LOVED the way it sounded and since it was his he didn’t want it replaced. Ok, no problem, all good.Well wouldn’t you know a Representative of the company reached out to me via email to ask about my purchase. I matched the purchase order number referenced to the second bowl. I was all set to say it was beautiful and everything was fine but I actually had to be honest with her. I explained that the bowl was a purchase for my son after ordering one for myself and while I didn’t particularly like the sound of it, HE did. Listen...when I tell you this Company has the Best Customer Service EVER I am in NO WAY understating that!! The email responses were immediate and I was sent a replacement bowl ‘at no charge’ even though I explained that it was simply MY opinion and the recipient of the bowl was quite happy with it. It didn’t matter to the Company. What mattered to them was that I felt satisfied. I couldn’t believe they went to such trouble to make me feel as though I had gotten what I paid for. (Peaceful singing bowl). The replacement one is the same beautiful high quality product and it does have a beautiful peaceful sound to me. They all three have a different pitch to them and I’m still not crazy about the one I gave my son but he loves it and I love mine. This Company is fantastic. The bowls are high quality and so very beautiful. I will definitely order products from this company again and again. I am truly satisfied as a Customer. Bought it for the tone. I liked what I heard in the samples and reviews. Then I chose a design I liked. It came well packaged. The tone is as I expected. I'm still learning to use it, but the tone from a light strike can be enough to soothe. It's very nice.

Great acoustics. Once you get the hang of it, you can get the sound to resonate throughout your house.

The media could not be loaded. First off, this is my first singing bowl. I must say, I can't keep my hands off of it. It's amazing the sound that comes from a 3.5" brass bowl.The bowl itself is nice, I really like the simple hammered craftsmanship, looks good. The color is a bit different then the picture, the inside a dull silver and the outside is kind of a dark brass.The mallet is made of nice wood with a bit of leather on the one end. This being my first bowl, I wasn't sure if the leather was necessary, since I had seen other bowls without it. At first, I couldn't get the bowl to sing with the leather side of the mallet, only the wood side. I found it easy with the wood side, but it would vibrate against the brass and ruin the sound as it got louder. I eventually figured out how to use the leather side, which dampens the vibrations at full volume. The key for me was to find a secure base. The little pillow it comes with, I didn't find useful. There is too much stuffing and the bowl moves around when trying to get it to sing. Fortunately, I have a larger pillow sitting around that I put to use. I also put a small piece of double sided tape to hold the bowl from spinning. With the bowl secured to the base, it's easy to get the bowl singing with the leather side.Once singing, the bowl gives off this cool Sci-fi vibrating frequency. I wasn't sure what tone or frequency this bowl was going to play, since it wasn't listed. I measured the frequency and found it sings at 624Hz or D#5.Only complaint would be the pillow. Perhaps a donut shaped pillow would be better.Bowl sounds awesome and looks good! Would definitely recommend this bowl. Overall, great purchase! I love it!

Lovely tibetan singing bowl. The size is just right, not too small and not too large. It sounds beautiful. Recommended!

Wanted a sound bowl for a while now.Not disappointed, beautiful high frequency sound and resonance and such a sweet Thankyou card inside too.Will look to by bigger with deeper tone and resonance.
