This is the best grinder I've come across

Well worth the money
Nice little tool. The grinding wheel puts it out of balance but isn't needed anyway, there's a perfectly good sanding belt next to it. Perfect for sharpening any sharp edge (even used it for my woodturnin gauges). A few burrs on the body, not a problem to a DIYer but a solid little bit of kit. Would have given it a four and a half

It is very small but also very good
It is super small but will work well for little objects you can't complain for the money comes with extra sanding belts and grinding and polishing wheels the plug is fused and UK so upgraded from other people's reviews saying not using a fused plug or EU adapter in summary food for the money super compact should work well

It's a hobbyists machine.
It's a dinky wee machine, really not very robust but it will do the job for which I bought it.

Better then you expect upon see this contraption for the first time!
So…. My first impression when I opened this originally around a month ago wernt great. This looks more like something a diy enthusiast has knocked together in his shed than something you would purchase. A lot of the components and electricals are on show and open to the elements and as mentioned the plug isn’t compliant. But… I thought I would give it a chance. I finally got chance to sharpen my chisels so popped this on the workshop bench and set it up. As I turned it on it made noises that didn’t fill me with confidence but it seemed to be working as it should. It’s only small so thought it would be ok without clamping it down but this wasn’t the case it moved with only a small amount of pressure but because of the size I did struggle to find a suitable place to put the clamp on. I would suggest if you are using this regularly then to mount it on some ply or similar that can be clamped easily. As I got using it, worked a lot better then I thought to be honest and my chisels came out a lot sharper then before. I’m yet to use the sanding belt properly but had a go with some scraps I had lying around and this did work well albeit quite noisy.Overall, it’s much better than I could have imagined as I pulled it out of the box on day 1. I’m happy with the performance on my chisels and that will be its main use but I wouldn’t hesitate to use it when sanding small items. I think if the imperfections are sorted this could be a good machine. Would I pay £65 for it probably not but around the £50 mark I would be willing to part with my cash.
