Replaced under warranty. I love this cleaner
*Customer Service update*As promised here's my update regarding my experience with Tineco's customer service. Their Customer Service Reps are patient, attentive and very friendly. I've interacted with about 5 or 6 of them and each one of them made the experience pleasant. The best way to contact Tineco is through the chat feature on their website. Emails take on average 24 to 36hrs for a response. Phonecalls are tricky as well. I think some are located overseas so there is the timezone difference to consider when calling and when you do get a live person they recommend the chat.🟩 The ChatIs very convenient and quick. They emailed me a return shipping label once I supplied proof of purchase, the serial number of the machine, a summation of what happened and pictures of the damage. I shipped back everything they requested and they shipped me a refurbished machine ( their refurbished machine tend to be machines returned though the machine has no defects). I was skeptical but once I received the replacement machine I was satisfied.🟩Shipping + CostTineco provided a shipping label at no cost to me. The replacement was shipped once they received my machine NOT while mine was in transport as stated. Overall it took about 2.5 weeks to return and receive the replacement.🟩Replacement MachineIt functions well so far mechanically and has no noticeable defects, scratches etc. Perfect condition.🟩Overall Tineco gets an A+ for customer service! They were friendly and helpful. They also checked with me via email and phonecall to make sure the machine met my satisfaction.**Original Review*I like my Tineco. It does exactly what it promises to do. Its light weight & takes up very little space. Its also easy use and clean. I use it on average 2 or 3x a week. I bought this version because it has a ( nice, very long) cord. I like to go over surfaces repeatedly and don't want to feel rushed because of the battery constraints of other models. I purchased this machine as gifts for family and finally bought one for myself Dec. 2023 since my family like their machines.🔸️Cleaning Pros: This machine maneuvers easily. I love the steam clean feature. It picks up everything leaving my tiled floor sparkling. Its also wonderful on wood floors too.🔸️Cleaning Cons: My only complaint is that I do have to clean corners by hand. This machine simply cannot reach those areas but there are newer models that can. Again I bought this model because of the cord. Its now Feb. 2025 and unfortunately just when I was about to use it, the base inexplicably just crumbled and the empty Dirty water tank fell off. The machine is still under warranty. I contacted Tineco and so far it seems promising. I will update my review in regards to my repair/ warranty experience once it's concluded.so far the customer service has been very nice.

Very Useful Floor Steam Vac Basic Corded Expect To Last Decade+
Yep, glad I got this Tineco steam cleaning, hot roller-scrubbing, floor vacuum. Floors in whole house are now much easier clean; even daily with pets. Bought because it sanitizes w/o putting more chemicals into my home's interior. Tanks are large enough, but not so large that a physically-limited person would have issues. Both can be handled at a typical kitchen sink.Is a very well engineered & constructed unit. Expecting many years of use. Nothing is flimsy on this non-digital "less-stuff-to-break" corded version. With few sensors and no "display". No batteries to mess with, cord is very tough, long enough to cover a whole room. Self-cleaning mode is effective, after 1st cleaning the no-tools removable roller & tanks. The base motor unit is easily & fully cleaned with a sink-sprayer and provided bottle-brush thru the single ~3/4" dia. roller-to-dump tank suction tube. After that, reassemble, without tools, and set on the provided storage drip-pan, simply touch the top (green) "self-clean" cycle button. I use it nearly daily, to clean up aging-cat messes, and lots of hair. It has NOT become musty, after 5 months. It's quickly ready-to-use, be sure to turn on "steam" mode, only takes ~30 sec. to get steamy. Does also help greatly with tight-nap rugs, even though Tineco spec'd only for bare-floors. Roller is a soft-nap microfiber-like ~2" dia.. Is soft, is not a scratchy or stiff-bristle roller (like in dry-vacs). Even my old soft vinyl floors, and real-wood lat hall, are never scratched.

It’s a good machine
I wanted to be able to give it 5 stars, but there are a few things that leave me wanting.Pros:Tineco customer service has been fantastic for me! The holders for the extra mop head andfilter were missing. They were fast to respond, quick to send me a replacement and also sent me a free roller brush. It gets the job done. I haven’t had to use it on any spills yet, but everyday dirt hasn’t been an issue.I love that the clean and dirty water tanks are separate. After cleaning, the machine has a self cleaning cycle.Cons:What I’m bothered by is how many times I have to run it to get the roller brush clean. It’s hard to believe that the brush is being cleaned as it washing like the advertisement led me to believe. The machine itself needs more cleaning after using it than I hoped. But, it’s definitely better than using a regular mop and bucket. The last thing that isn’t great but also not a deal breaker is that it leaves a bit more residual water than I had expected. I think it leaves more when it’s in steam mode than with regular mode.I wish I could try the newer, more advanced models but they are a bit out of my price range. To be fair, this is the only Tineco I have tried, so I can’t compare within the brand. The only other steam mops I’ve owned were the kinds with mop pads. Those worked great when I had all sealed wood floors. They weren’t great on the 15+ year old stone tile in our most recent house. I think the sealant wore off before we bought the house. The pad type mops just felt like I was pushing the dirt around. I was looking for a mop that would clean the roller brush as I was cleaning. I am not convinced this model does that .. at least not as well as I wanted. Also, be weary of generic roller brushes. The one set I bought don’t fit properly and cause a very loud rattling noise.
