Yerba Mate Amanda azul no Stems 1kg

Taste is great but I realise I preferred red packagin where there are stems too and taste is littleore distinguished. All in all grat value and great tea.

Best yerba on the market. The flavour is a bit more sour than those with stem, but this is how it should be.

This mate has a smooth, smoky taste that makes a pleasant drink, hot or cold. But go carefully, it packs quite a caffiene punch. True, "no stems" means more bang for your buck, and you certainly get that with Amanda. In future I will blend it 50-50 with a milder brand, or discard the first "wash", thereby eliminating some of the stimulant. This is the closest I have come to "caffiene jitters" after drinking mate, but it's a good product, with a depth of flavour that lasts for several "lavados."

Very good product. Good alternative for coffee. Slighty diuretic but detox as well.
