It's almost like a thin cardboard material but with no chlorines bleaches clays or coatings. holds up well when wet and doesn't deteriorate.

I love the massive size, how it can wrap my largest items and also my smallest (ie, 2 x 4") with ease! There was no tearing at all, and it was easy to bend. I was also able to use regular tape... It stuck amazingly well! I love the colour, thickness, size, quality and price. I also love that it's an eco friendly item. There is nothing I would change. My roll seems to be endless, too.

Kraft paper is not universal, as I have learned. You should know exactly what your needs are before you purchase. I am wrapping tons of books. I had been using Duck brand in the past, but thought there was something better for my needs and here it is! The duck was too thick for wrapping, IMO. The texture was more like paper grocery bags. Also, the roll was too long for one book but not enough for two. I wasted a lot. This paper is perfect! You can’t see the bold dust jacket covers underneath and the corners don’t poke through, but it’s easy to fold. I am wrapping the books so that there are pockets on the front. Thick paper hurts my hand muscles when I have to do intricate folds. The length of the roll is also perfect! Not too much, not too little, and not cumbersome. And you can’t beat the price!!! I will order again!
