Excellent protection for 18inch laptop, enclosed, secures, compact enough to slip into a backpack
Purchased an ASUS ROG Strix Scar, an18 inch laptop, and realized late - this thing is big. Needing to transport it safely requires it to be placed in something that will protect it when the bag it's in is thrown in the trunk, or set down a bit roughly. This will provide a good level of protection. It is semi-rigid, fully enclosing, padded protection, that can be inserted into a sufficiently sized backpack. This Smatree 18 inch sleeve/case does a good job of providing essential protection. Add something like the Everkey Business 120 backpack and you can move your larger/heavier (expensive) laptop with some much needed assurance that simple misshandling wont result in serious damage to your laptop. It can also be fit into the Pelican 1495 CC#1 if you want a briefcase that will help it survive serious abuse.

Hoping for the best
Was a phenomenal machine, however, downgraded now after 6 months of ownership. There is a memory issue that keeps causing Windows to crash multiple times a day, EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! It is exhausting at this point. Memtest and onboard BIOS tests points to the memory on the dGPU, which is hardwired to the Motherboard. So, It will be a warranty issue, which means downtime when I critically need this machine for work.... Bad, situation all around. I am hoping it is not a 4 to 6 month nightmare turn around scenario, like I have been in before. That would turn this to zero stars (one as low as I can go) instantly.I plan on contacting this company of, which I expect them to send me to ASUS for a warranty issue, which I expect to get kicked down the road from some of the bad reviews I have see, lately. Really bothers me because I have had some really good ASUS gear over the years, but this was a $2500 Laptop, brand new for it to have these kinds of problems after 6 months. Probably better than a year or more, then I would be out the cash for sure.

😎 Excellent! I highly recommend.
I have purchased three of these in several different sizes and all three have been awesome I love that I can zip it up dough it away if I need to and that worry about severe damage.

Overpriced; single compartment that didn't fit 16" laptop it was recommended for
This case it the only one 'recommended' for the ASUS ROG SCAR 16" laptop. I saw what it was when I ordered it, but I'm still disappointed. I expected the laptop not to fit snugly, but it actually slides around if there isn't something extra put in the case to stop it. And the 'extra room' isn't quite big enough to accommodate ANY of the accessories; not the wireless mouse (purchased separately) and not the AC adaptor. I ended up using an old Alienware case that I happened to have instead. I should send it back, but I'm too busy to bother. Buyer beware, caveat emptor. Because I'm not actually using it I cannot further comment on features or construction other than to say it looks, in person, exactly as it does in the product description. I would expect it to be capable of adequate protection for a 17" laptop; I just can't recommend it for a 16" laptop. So, why did Amazon?
