No, this card is not expired and the promotion is also still valid. - Our (InstaSIM) current FBA stock will expire on 31 March 2023. - The promotion, 30 GB non-stop internet for 30 days in Thailand (speed will drop to 384 kbps after 30 GB), was extended from 31 Aug 2022 to 31 Dec 2022. Therefore, if you use this SIM before 31 Dec 2022, you will receive 30 GB fullspeed then non-stop at 384 kbps for 30 days. We have requested Amazon many times to change the detail but they do not allow us to change.

Q: Does this need to be registered upon arrival in Bangkok?

All SIMs sold by us (InstaSIM) are pre-registered. You just need to ensure your phone must be UNLOCKED and if you use Android phone and Verizon/Spint, you need to change Network mode from "Global" or "CDMA/LTE" to "GSM/LTE". After you arrive in Thailand, you just insert SIM card to your phone and normally, your SIM will be activated by itself after you try to use first data within 1-5 minutes. However, sometimes, AIS system may not make your SIM active by itself (we used to face this problem just a few cases), you just dial *120 and call to force activate the card. If you buy from us and have any problem, feel free to contact us via message. We will do the best to help because we are based in Thailand (if the problem is not locked phone).
