Q: Will this work for carpel tunnel pain?

Yes! Icing the elbow & arm helps. You also need to modify the habits causing the carpal tunnel. There are lots of videos on natural recovery, rehab & strengthening of the arm & shoulder to assist use. I strongly suggest you do a bunch of that research, as surgery is not often a permanent NOR easy fix for everyone. Change your habits, per the videos: R.I.C.E. popular because it Works. I disagree with the other reviewer. That nerve runs all the way from your shoulder to your hands, thru the elbow and along many places of possible compression. Research and watch vids on carpal, tennis/golfer's elbow, and shoulder connection and body connection feeding all that. STOP what you're doing every 30 minutes to get up & stretch, do something else a little. DON'T overuse or overdue (RSI) - stretch, move, mix it up activity-wise. Ice the spots that hurt most, preferably while elevated, up to several times a day for 20 minutes. Research healthy ways to recovery and build surrounding strength from.whatever you are doing to CAUSE the issue. You didn't always have carpal, so what did you start overdoing? Mix it up. RICE! You can recover without surgery, in many cases. Learn from others successes. I worked on my hands for months and then realized the Source of injury was elbow & higher, as you may find, and could then treat the right area and build strength that was balanced with habits likewise.
