Great Buy & very easy to install.
Good quality item at an excellent price. Only took 5 minutes to install. Comes with both indoor & outdoor vent parts, plus screws for fitting. Measurements are spot on and does exactly what it’s supposed to.

Good, cheap, passive ventilation
When buying our house we were told it was damp. Over the years great effort was made to seal the house completely, not allowing it to 'breathe' - therein lies the problem. We sought to increase the breathability of the house with passive ventilation - the first of our tactics meant employing the use of trickle vents to get some air running through the house (emulating the single glazed windows of days gone by). These trickle vents suit the purpose well, especially for the cheap price. Instructions are minimal (youtube's good for that though) but all necessary pieces are included to fit them. 2 major things to note:1. It's worth siliconing round the edges when fitting the outside one, in addition to screws, just in case water gets to the exterior holes you made2. On a noisy street, fitting on PVC windows, you'll find more sound permeates due to drolling holes through the window frame. Note these are not acoustic vents, just in case you were wondering :) .Please hit 'yes' below if you found my review helpful :)

Easy retro fit for existing windows
Was worried when a building sign off said I should have fitted Trickle Vents on some windows, thinking they would be costly to retrofit, but these were simple. I did not cut slots, only drilled a hole in each gap, which I am sure is enough. Did 3 windows in half an hour.

Plastic fantastic...
I bought these trickle vents to retro-fit to a wooden window which was suffering from damp and condensation. Our living room window would often be wet through on winter's mornings, and I decided to increase the passive ventilation in order to correct it. Four drill holes, a couple of cuts with a jigsaw, and I had a small slit in the frame. This vent then screwed over the hole to make it good.Since installation, the level of condensation has decreased considerably, and I'm certainly happy I went down this route. As a bonus, the vent has a hinged flap, which means that you can close it should you wish, e.g. on particularly windy days or, in my case, when your neighbour lights up outside your house.

Good value for money.
Good quality but a very slightly off white in colour. Hardly noticeable when fitted.

10min DIY. Easy.
So far so good. Easy to fit and took me about 10mins to drill ventilation holes using a 6mm diameter drill bit (x8 holes - 3cm apart will suffice) in my wooden window frames. I bought these to increase ventilation in our converted basement bedroom and to take the pressure off the dehumidifier down there. Seems to be doing the job.
