The media could not be loaded. Idk why some people are saying the sound quality is bad, I just upgraded from Samsung and the sound quality is much better and louder. Sound is only on 30 and it’s very clear. Picture quality seems to be the same as Samsung. The Home Screen is way nicer and and easier to use.It’s also a lot thinner and lighter but very sturdy

For the money, this is an excellet 40" TV which we have solely connected to the internet to offer a range of live and on deman tv. We access the standard terrestial channels as well as their catch up option, Apple TV, Prime TV and Netflix. Set up was incredibly simple and we were ready to view within minutes of installing it on the wall. Two feet are provided to make an optionmal stand but we did not require these.Operation is simple and the TV starts quickly. We found the standard LED on the lower central edge a bit annoying as this unit is installed in our bedroom. We opted to use a Tapo plug to isolate the mains power, which results in the TV taking longer to start up but as we don't use it that much it doesnt really effect us.The remote is simple to use and has the option to use Alexa to control various elements. We are a bit old fashioned in this regard and simply prefer to press buttons to access what stations and option we require. It is pretty good to control and every bit as good as the LG model costing over 6 times the price of this item which is in our sitting room. In terms of picture quality, this item punches above its weight and whilst it isn't as good as our LG TV, it isnt that far behind for standard viewing. The weak point I suppose is the sond quality, it isn't bad but this illustrates that this is a budget priced TV. So it doesn't have the dynamic range of our main TV, nor is it as good as a further TV we have with a Bose soundbar, however, it does have a remarkably small price point which at £169.00 to use represented extraordinary value for money for a TV used mainly to watch the breakfast news with limited use during the day.One additional thing that this TV has encouraged me to do is to access you tube, which I haven't really done before, prefeerring to rely on my iPad. This TV has made me realise on what I have missed!Great TV, well woth the money and 5 stars. Recommended.

It's a nice TV with good picture and sound quality ,I stream all my TV and this TV gives me literally hundreds of programmes to stream legally from all over the world. Easy to set up and other streaming devices can easily be connected via HDMI , it also has satellite and normal aerial connections available for free to air channels all in good quality picture. Alexa also makes programme searches very easy. A good quality TV for a modest price.

I purchased this unit with the intention of using it to display video and presentations in meetings at work. I mounted it on the wall using the supplied VESA fixing points, and it is perfect for the job.The product is very light - I can pick it up with just a finger and thumb - and the full HD picture quality is excellent. For the money this TV would be very difficult to beat, it is a real bargain.Note that, because it is a Fire TV, you have to connect it to an Amazon account or it will whinge at you continuously until you do. You can use external inputs without connecting it to an account, but it is still annoying to have to go through the process skipping and confirming you want to skip every time you turn the screen on. I bought this personally for use at work but I am loath to attach my personal account to the screen and risk the potential of others purchasing on my account. Experience shows that Amazon will allow voice ordering even if you have turned off the various options and Fire TVs have to be handled separately and entered in various places to get full protection. I could sign up for a new account, but I am not sure that I want the amount of email that would, unleash.If I were using it at home, I would not have any problem with attaching my personal account, it is only my unusual usage that makes this a potential issue.Overall, this is a light, sturdy, modern looking television, easy to use, responsive, and perfect for the intended purpose. As a bedroom TV or display it offers great value for money.

After much research I bought this for my elderly mother to have in her Care Home bedroom, as she spends half the day bedridden and TV is her only entertainment. I chose it because it has Alexa built in and I wanted her to be able to change channels with the Alexa voice control. Two days into having it installed there, we realised there was a fault with the TV unit - after tuning it to Freeview channels using the aerial, it would lose those tunings after a few hours - they woud be blank - no visuals. We tested the existing TV in that room and swapped ariel cables and also tested the TCM in another room with two different cables and each time the TCM dropped the TV tuning and the other TV's we tested them against did not (they were rock solid). What hurts me here is that I had to drive across the country 5 hours to set this up and it went wrong after I left (competent technical staff locally undertook the testing) and so my mother was with TV for a day or so - this had a big negative impact on her, and I feel it has wasted my time and hers (and waste of money with that long drive). I am upset that the TCM was unreliable and I will be returning it as soon as I can get back to the other side of the country.

Excellent TV at a truly great price. This TV is feature-packed with the Amazon connectivity and ability to install apps. While the screen is 1080p it is sharp and crisp. The colors pop and the built in picture modes really make a huge difference. If you can't find something that fits your need you can always go manual as well. PS5 plays great but I do recommend setting the screen to Game mode. It's just the right size on my desk and makes a nice screen to work from home on as well with my laptop.No brainer here.
