I've ordered this product, a few times, from Amazon. The package says that it's 100% Organic Camu Camu Powder, which means that it should be just as good as any of the other brands; unless they're lying to us.Because this product is competitively priced, and because it comes in a larger quantity, I decided to buy it. Overall, I've been pleased, and have had no complaints.I'm particularly writing this review, now, after reading some of the one-star reviews. What irritates me, is that some people are giving this product one star because it tastes bad. This doesn't make any sense, to me. It's camu camu powder. It's true that it tastes bad, but that's just the way camu camu powder tastes. Would these people give a water company one star because the water tastes bland, and has no flavor? Of course not. So, what makes it fair, in this sense?The first time I tried camu camu powder, I bought it from my local health food store. The brand, that I bought, was more expensive than this brand, and it tasted just as bad.I found out, the hard way, that camu camu powder has a very bitter taste. Now, I mix mine in a glass of Kool-aid, or apple juice. I'll mix one teaspoon into a glass of either one. As long as the drink is sweet enough, or already has a bold flavor, it does the trick of masking the bad flavor. You'll be able to notice that the flavor is altered, and, as others have pointed out, it doesn't completely dissolve. Nevertheless, it's certainly consumable, without making you want to spit it out.Some reviews have complained about the packaging. Fortunately, I've never had one burst during shipping.For me, the packaging is adequate. It is a resealable package. However, I usually pour the contents into a smaller, resealable container, as I empty the bag, over time. I just find it more convenient than fooling with the ziplock. This may also cause the ziplock to last longer, since I'm not constantly opening and closing it.If a less reliable, resealable bag, is the way they keep the price competitive, then I'm all for it. Of course, I'd be upset if it burst, during shipping. However, I can always put it into a different container, once it arrives.

I cannot say enough good things about this camu camu powder! I have been taking it for years, everyone around me that doesn't take it seems to get sick at least a few times or more a year. I can say, since I started taking camu camu over 8 years ago, I NEVER GET SICK!! Even when I am around completely germy sick people! For anyone that doesn't like the taste, I recommend doing as I do and putting the powder into pill form. I buy empty veggie capsules and have a pill maker I purchased off of amazon after my old one my mom gave me broke last year and I just pill up the powder and swallow 2 pills each morning with water. If I am going to be around people that are sick or I am worried about getting sick I just take 2 in the morning and 2 at night before bed. Making them into pills is the only way I can deal with the taste and it is super simple to make them and the bag of powder makes a ton of pills!

This Camu Camu powder is from the berries, which is important. Some companies are using the leaves, and not the berry. The berry is where you get the high dose of vitamins. In 1 teaspoon, Vit C is 760% and Vit B3 (niacin) is 28%, which is amazing!!! Suggestion; whisk in carrot juice-thicker juices or in a smoothie for best results. Dried berries w/high nutrients tend to be bitter, but you should acquire a taste for it because the health benefits should be certainly worth it!

This product is definitely healthy and high quality - I purchased because it is less expensive than the usual product I buy. But I just can't get past the taste - so bitter and so grainy - it didn't mix well with anything I tried. So I reordered my usual and put this in the freezer - perhaps i'll need it someday.

Believe it to work well, but taste is obviously all natural so not too good but happy no additives or stuff to alter it. It also will not dissolve in liquid very well. I like to put 1/8 tsp in a small bottle of apple juice to make it easier to take. It must be shaken and drank right away or you get a super chalky first swig or a chunky finish at the bottom. Possibly using it in a smoothie may make it easier to take without tasting.Purchased originally to make Liposomal Vitamin C, but didn’t realize that niacin was also in it. So no go there.

Supposed to be high in natural vitamin C.I use it in my smoothies.

We purchased this to get more food source Vit. C into our diet. It doesn't dissolve into our morning ACV, cayenne & honey drink so it doesn't work for us. It's also a little gritty. We'll use what we have but won't buy it again. Will check with my local natural health foods store for a recommendation.
