Old Dutch OS966 Hammered Charger Plate, 13", Stainless Steel

It’s been several years and I still use these for Christmas dinners. They look so classy and they just never go out of style! The price was just right too!

These are the second set of these shakers that I have had. The last ones lasted over 10 years. The pepper shaker got dented and the "P" came loose from being dropped, so I searched on Amazon and was thrilled to find another set. I find them lovely, user friendly with a simple touch of class. They are easy to clean, I wipe them with a damp cloth, and they look as good as new. I especially like the size, so they don't need to be filled constantly and they are durable (hence the 10 years) I especially like the handles and the hammered look, classic country/ antique look, which fits perfectly into my kitchen decor.I like them so much I kept the old set for my spice cabinet for cooking.Hoping these last as long as the last, if so, I will review again in 10 years!

If you are wondering if these are as sturdy and solid as they look in the picture...yes, they are. Beautifully made, well polished, all stainless steel. The handles are welded on and are rock solid. There is a small rubber stopper in the bottom of each shaker that is easy to open but secure, for filling the shakers. They are stainless so they will look great forever with just some simple care. If you need to wash them, these should be hand-washed with warm soapy water, don't put in a dishwasher or let them soak in water. Stainless does well with dampness but no need to push it.These are pretty sizable - about the size of a small coffee cup (but maybe just a tad narrower) - so be prepared they are substantial. I love them, easy to grip, goes a long time without needing to refill, and easy to conrol - whether you are shaking some pepper into a pot of soup you are making, or just seasoning something on your plate. Probably the last salt/pepper shakers you will need to buy in your lifetime.

Worth the money at $30! I have a 60's MCM home and these make an excellent addition to my themed decor. The part that attaches the tin and lid together is plastic, slightly flexible. The tin itself is made very well. It is a shiny chrome with hammered look, the metal went through an industrial process that makes uniform, perfect dents so it does not have the unique look have hand crafted hammered metal, but it still looks great. The lids fit snugly bit not too tight, they are just right, any looser would be a problem. I do a lot f baking, having the ingredients handy saves so much time. The large tin is just enough for four pounds of flour with a bit of wiggle room. The second largest tin is just enough for three pounds of sugar.

Well made, but the picture is a little misleading. They almost look white with like a distressed/rust finish in the picture, and are just normal old stainless steel (I knew before buying- but I think some people may not be as cognizant). Still cute and functional! Would have been 5 stars but some of the lids are a lot tighter than others, not a huge deal, still seals nicely, just annoying when I forgot which ones I have to pull on to get off in the morning lol

Great product - a bit bigger than I expected - but not an issue with me. My only issue with the product is that it has a curved opening at the bottom with rubber/plastic plug. Because it's curved, washing it was a pain in the butt because all the water sat inside the lip at the bottom. This was solved with a lot of shaking and a couple hours of dry time. Also, there was some debris stuck in the holes at the top that took some maneuvering to get out. Not a big deal, however, because after the initial washing, I really do love these!UPDATE 12/19: 6 years later with nearly everyday use and the handles are now showing minor chipping in the finish. These are still definitely worth the price. I love them.

These are really beautiful chargers with a nice quality. I like that they will not tarnish since they are stainless, and then are good and level so that plates sit properly upon them. They look stunning and match every color placemat or table decor. VERY impressed for the price.I did notice that the "hammered" spots are a little too regular/uniform for these to be handmade, but they still look amazing and have a nice weight. I am sure these will last.Great buy!UPDATE after months of use - still love them and actually bought a second 6 pack. These are really great and will match any color platemat, etc.

Nice fitting lid to keep out any Intruders and the largest canister holds a huge can of coffee and then some. I would definitely buy again.
