Cool Mate 43L Silver12v Camper Van Fridge/Motorhome/Caravan - Freezer DC 12v / 24V

I was initially unimpressed with this fridge.The numbers on the front were not reflecting the temperatures inside.After some searching I realised this is a rebranded Apicool cr50.I decided to see if the Apicool app would work via Bluetooth, to my surprise it did!Once going into the advanced settings and playing about I was able to match up the front numbers to the actual temperature of both the Freezer and fridge.I have seen a few reviews here completely writing this unit off as rubbish.It is important to not use the power cables supplied, these are inadequate if your leisure battery is more than a meter away.I use 6mm cable running from my leisure battery (under drivers seat in a Vw T5) to a fuse and then into the fridge just behind the driver seat.If you use the wires supplied it is very likely that you will have voltage drop that will prevent the unit from working.Hope this helps!

Had to return as not working when arrived. The seller does not pay for return postage upfront and then only pays a part of it (cost me £15 to return and they only paid £10!) Also, not supplied with any plugs - 12v or 240v.

Exelent product I have installed it in my campervan waited until black Friday to get a better deal

Showing F1 fault on freezer side after 6months. Now unusable whilst I figure out repair or replace under warranty
