How do you assemble the trident?

There is a video on another company trident like ours shows the assembly it helped me.  What it showed was this.

You have to assemble the Trident in a precise order or it will never come together.

The first rod, one that was a bit longer I seem to remember, screws into the forked part of trident to begin the process.  I didn't screw it quite all the way in because I later discovered that I needed to be sure the assembled rods  ended up being lomg enough to allow the second rod to stick out the last section of handle for the end cap to screw onto it.

Next take the part of handle that has Runes on it and guide the rod through the Rune section twisting the handle portion as needed to slide it into place against the fork.

Now, this thing came with a small wrench, a small lug with both ends threaded and a larger long lug with both ends threaded.

Take the long one and carefully push it into the Rune section and thread the rod, now inside the Rune section, into it.  Its close tolerances.   About a quarter to half inch sticks our the end of the Rune section if you have it right.  Also, if I remember right, the lug has a smaller end than the other.  The large end I remember just fit into the Rune section of the handle.  The small end side of the lug  is needed to go into the last part of next section of the handle.

Now take the second rod and screw it into the lug.  It took a few times working with these rods and not completely tightening them to get the length right.  Also had to swap out a few times the rods to get things right.   If you've worked the lengths right you can guide the final smooth section of handle over the rod with about a quarter to half inch of threads left sticking out or just enough for the endpiece to grab onto the thread.

At last comes the final step.

You've got at this point a fork with a rod inside a Rune section, connected by a lug to another rod inside a smooth section with some tread hanging out.

I had to play with loosening rods sections and lug until that final small Part of threads was out enough to allow you to carefully guide the arrowhead bottom piece onto the threads and start turning.  If you are lucky they catch and now you tighten like crazy.  When it's tight, you'll feel it.  Also you'll feel the assembly now firm and strong, without much movement.  The rods are the spine inside.  You are done.  My end cap is not quite in perfect alignment with tje overall symmetry but I don't care about that.  It's very minor.

Note, this thing I'd really HEAVY.  So watch yourself.  Besides, Aquamanis a strong guy anyway.  And if you are into Greek Myrhology, this IS the Trident of the God Posiedon.  So heavy is right.  They should have included assembly instructions.  It took a whole afternoon to work it out.  Hopefully this helps.  It IS cool once assembled.

is it hollow or solid?

Hollow, it's got all-thread that connects all the pieces together. Feels decently solid when put together tightly.
