Almost Perfect
The media could not be loaded. TL;DR – Expensive, not a great "value." Looks awesome. Solves a very specific problem. The side handle feels great, only wish it pivots. The top handle has issues if you have a heavy kit.I needed a cage for a complete video rig build-out while still being a good fit in the hand for photography. I tried some other SmallRig cages and they limit access to the top dials – this cage solves that problem and gives you great access to everything you need. The carbon fiber and general look is by far the best that SmallRig offers. Looks and feels premium while still being very lightweight. There's a plethora mounting solutions on every side of every piece you can imagine. Overall, it's one of the best cages/kits you can get for your camera. That said, I still have a few issues. For the price, the handle should pivot. If you were to purchase separately, similarly priced handles that SmallRig offers pivot. The biggest issue is with the top handle and how it mounts. The thin piece of carbon fiber doesn't look to be enough for a solid connection. With a full video rig, the handle easily bends/contorts when picked up. I tried other aluminum cages and handles from SmallRig and didn't have this issue. I would say it's a mix of the lack of metal connection on the cage itself (to allow access to the dials) and the thin piece of carbon fiber on the handle. See video.Ultimately, it's still a great kit and I would still recommend it. Just understand its limitations.

Perfection!!
I've owned a few cages for my cameras, over the years, and this one is such a great cage, especially for the money. I had the half cage before this, and just felt like I needed more space. While that's also a great cage, everything about this one is amazing!. The build quality, the weight, the feel, and the versatility. I don't typically use the side handles, but this one will be a permanent fixture. I love the feel of the leather and the carbon fiber. The top handle also has a great feel. The only thing I don't like about the top handle is that there's no place for an allen wrench. It's not a huge deal, but I like that wrench to be available to tighten and loosen the top handle for when I want to remove and re-install. This is beyond the typical great quality you get from SmallRig. They really knocked this one out of the park.

Big hands? Sony A7IV Hybrid Shooter? With great sadness I say, this may not be for you
I needed a cage for my Sony A7iv to do hybrid work. IMO, It's one of the best looking cages on the market so I just recently bought this cage.I mostly shoot photos but do quite a bit of video as well and this cage was the clear winner for a hybrid set up. The problems I have with it unfortunately, are...I have big hands and the part of the cage that wraps around the grip adds more thickness between your finger and the mounted lens, so now my fingers literally press against the lens.Second, this is grip related as well, I thought the bottom of the cage would have had a longer extension for your pinky, but it doesn't so no extra length for a pinky rest. So now my pinky kind of floats below the grip. Now the problem there is the bottom of the cage has edges, they are more sharp than rounded, not like Tesla truck edges but definitely not a comfortable feeling for my pinky pressing against the bottom edges of the cage.Third, this is especially problematic for Sony Hybrid Shooters that use the quick selection switch from photo to video. When in photo mode the toggle switch sits just below the top hotshoe part of the cage and is not easily accessible, so now doing quick switches from photo to video is cumbersome and ultimately hinders the fluid switch from photo to video and back. I like the look of the cage but i'm not sure if I want to add new callouses to my fingers wedged between the lens and grip or hinder my ability to quickly switch from photo to video as required for a hybrid shooter. This cage is a 5 star for the right person and situations but for a hybrid shooter with big hands, this cage could cause you more grief than it's worth.

Light weight, best cage I have (of 3x)
This is absolutely the best cage I have ever purchased. I mostly use it with my Sony A7R-V and it's attached almost all the time with the top handle towards the front. The NinjaV goes on instantly when I want to shoot video and often stays there for stills. This cage must me used with the associated base when rod-based accessories are needed (mostly video), and that base allows rod mounts for various foot-mounted lenses with different distances between the optical axes and camera sensor height. All configurations are rock solid and the camera controls can be very easily accessed.I can even use this cage with my other A7R series bodies as the A7R-V is the largest body by a couple of mm.The base is: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NXSMW5C?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsI love it!Pete

Beware!!! Makes your view finder useless!
If you use this as the pictures show you can’t look into your view finder without the handle poking you’re forehead so I was forced to mount it backwards and that’s awkward as the hand grip is backwards now. Thinking I just sunk money in something not very helpful 🤷🏻♂️
