Back in November I got a lot of K-beauty samples including this cleanser, and within a couple weeks of using them all, my skin was the best it had been in 6 years and I was amazed. Then my samples ran out and I had to decide which products to buy full sizes of since I'm not a millionaire, and this cleanser didn't make the cut, because I didn't think it was the cleanser that was making a big difference (I was using multiple cleansers at once).Fast forward to December and my skin wasn't as bright and clear as it had gotten in November, meaning I was getting a few cystic breakouts, which was discouraging. I thought maybe the products just stopped working. So a week ago I decided to buy this to see if it was somehow the magic ingredient in my routine and ???? Turns out it was??? By the next morning of using it, my skin was so soft and smooth and all of my blemishes either decreased significantly in swelling or virtually disappeared depending how deep they were. Which means now my hyperpigmentation actually has time to fade!Tl;Dr Haven't gotten another breakout since using this. Seems to have broken the cycle I was living with for years and I have no clue how this affordable, basic cleanser has made such a difference but I'm extremely grateful and yes I would recommend it because if your skin is as troubled as mine was, you probably relate to the feeling of having nothing to lose. Try it! :)

One of the best products. It does dry your skin a little, so you’ll need to moisturize after especially if you have dry skin like me. But it gives a great clean every time.

This is the only facial cleanser that does not give me pimples.

I have UNBELIEVABLY sensitive acne-prone skin and I’ve tried everything under the sun. I fell in love with this product and I’ve bought 5 different bottles so far, seriously; I just keep coming back!The smell is a very strong natural green tea leaf type scent that I didn’t like at first, but it was easy to get used to. The cleanser is super silky and soft, it’s a clear gel that you need to work hard to get to lather. It’s super gentle on the skin and doesn’t leave residue, and it also doesn’t dry the skin out at — I’m guessing that’s because of the pH balance that matches your skin’s natural one.It’s an incredible product: I’ve struggled to find a cleanser that doesn’t break me out everywhere, and this one certainly has done the trick. I highly recommend it to anyone with extremely sensitive skin.

this product works very well. I reordered but the one I got is clear and b the one I always use is white. sigh

I really like this and the Hemish cleansers in general. This cleanser has a medicinal smell, I’d even say it smells slightly sour, but it’s mild and doesn’t linger after rinsing your face. I love the fact that if I’m in a hurry, I can skip the toner (might not even need it at all when using this product honestly). I don’t find it super drying, but I do have oily/combo skin, but I did require a hydrating product to apply to my face after to feel perfectly comfortable during the winter months. A gel moisturizer did the trick for me.This cleanser leaves my face feeling refreshed and I think it tones down some of my skin’s redness/breakouts more than other cleansers after some consistent use. I use the Hemish cleansing balm before hand at night and I’m very happy with the results of the combination of the two products :)

I’ve have a VERY rough time finding a cleanser and moisturizer after finding out I’m allergic to fragrance. Even though a product may say it’s fragrance free there are still irritants in the ingredients that don’t work for my skin. I’ve tried many many many cleansers and I saw this product featured in a YouTubers video who also has a fragrance allergy as well as perioral dermatitis. I gave it a shot and have already repurchased twice. It is the only thing I can find so far that cleans very well including removing my makeup. I still am on the hunt for a moisturizer but this cleanser has helped me so much and it’s so inexpensive. Worth every penny. Highly recommended for problematic skin.

It really works and I have tried a lot different products and spent a lot of money on them. It is not oily at all and after usage, the skin feels clean, fresh and it does not feel dried or oily. I wish there was a bigger size but other than that, it is really good!!!
