The handle made of paper thin walled metal pipe is joined together of 4 pieces with a plastic threaded part. It is barely able to support its own weight, and far away from the forces required to use the cultivator end, which works well if you replace the handle with a proper wood handle that is easy to fit.

I was looking for something to simplify hoeing to keep on top of weeds and soil compaction. I had always used a Dutch hoe to loosen up the soil and then a garden rake to level off again. I noted this tool while browsing but was initially put off by the poor reviews, however, after considering the content of the negative reviews I realised that it hadn't been used it for what I wanted, so I made the decision to try it out. This is a super tool for this job. Not only is it quicker than just hoeing, there is no need for the raking at all. The other advantage is it takes larger stones to the top which are then easily removed. I have used it frequently since I bought it and am more than satisfied with it.I have some concern regarding the cast aluminium spikes which, although light and therefore easy to handle, may be easily broken when/if picking up stones by the inter-crossing spikes. However, I have had no issues to date other than stones jamming the spikes and having to be removed. A stainless steel version would be a good option.The head screws do need to be checked for tightness before and after each use, but this is something I normally do with all tools anyway, if relevant.A useful garden tool. Very content with this purchase.

Funktioniert toll, ideal für Beete, aber auch gut um beim Nachsähen von kahlen Stellen im Rasen vorher den Boden aufzulockern. Die Räder greifen wunderbar ineinander, was ein super Ergebnis bringt.Tipp zum Zusammenbauen: Bitte vorher die Rohre unbedingt in der richtigen Reihenfolge aneinander legen. Die einzelnen Rohre lassen sich dann ganz einfach ineinander schrauben und auch wieder zerlegen. Ansonsten selbsterklärend. Bei stärkerer Belastung kann es sein, dass sich die Rohrversschrauben am Stiel leicht lockern, dann einfach nachziehen und gut.

C'est un très bon outil, facile d'utilisation. Il suffit de le faire rouler sur la terre et celle-ci s'affine au fur et à mesure des passages. Impeccable, très bon achat
