Worked great. Thick and easy to lay down to protect your floor during painting

Perfect for my reno. I put this down after my floors went in, so the folks painting and doing finish work didn’t have to take off their shoes. These held up really well to tons of foot traffic over 3 months.

I intended to protect traffic areas on my recently-cleaned carpet against the twice-monthly inspection by my caretaker who I can’t depend upon to remove his shoes during a six-month away period.After a review by Grok (that suggested shorter duration usage than I had planned), I decided to uninstall the product.The adhesive REALLY STICKS; and I suspect that I’d have made a bad decision to leave the product on for 6 months - despite the expectation of minimal foot traffic.While I didn’t see carpet fibers on the removed product (installed for about 30 minutes - walking around on it barefooted), in my opinion, it’s more sticky than necessary for even a weekend painting project. Yet I suspect that it would certainly stand up to foot traffic during such a project.20250509

It is sturdy brown Kraft paper for a good price. It was great for protecting our new floors when we had movers working. 166 feet is a lot! We will probably have this roll for the rest of our lives. I have since used it to line the bottom of a utility closet at our new home. I also used some to protect the floor for a wall painting project. I'm sure we will find other uses for it over time. It was a good purchase.
