Good listening!!

I was concerned over some of the reviews about quality. I've played all 8 sides without a skip or pop. The records are of a heavy vinyl. They don't have paper sleeves so I didn't have to change those out after I got them. For reference, I only have a $300 Audio Tech. turntable. I did wash the records like I now do to all of mine to remove any debris from stamping before I play them. I also brush them each time before I play them. You don't need to do that stuff, I just like to take proper care of my stuff so it lasts longer. I had all of these on CDs. There is nothing like the vinyl. Hearing the album on the original format and the songs in the order the band set is priceless. I will say if you have a CD or digital files, your likely to skip songs and hear your favorite songs. If you listen to an album straight through, you experience the band. I know this is a greatest hits but it still somewhat works to still hear some less popular songs mixed in. Original style vinyl albums are the real thing to truly experience the band.

As a 50-year retrospective this is a very good collection, although it should have had 50 tracks, rather than being limited to 44. Notable exclusions are "Come Together", "Remember (Walking In The Sand)", "Lightning Strikes", "Deuces Are Wild", "Blind Man" and "Hole In My Soul".
