So far it’s one of the best purchases I have ever made
So I bought this because I work and have to wait in areas of Wyoming and Utah where there is no cellular service. So I have been pre downloading YT videos and it is getting kinda old. I didn’t want to take my switch because I thought it would be too rough on it. So I bought this. The stated information is probably right. I haven’t used it enough to verify the battery lifetime but it works so far as stated. This Game boy doesn’t have all the big games you would expect like Mario, or donkey Kong but it has a lot. I have been playing the Pokémon games and the legend of Zelda games as well. My only issue with the game boy is that it doesn’t have Bluetooth so I did have to buy some wired earbuds to use it when others are around. The other notable games it has are Contra, wario, Metroid, Kirby, metal gear, Dragon Ball, Spider-Man ps-1, mortal combat, legend of Zelda, Star fox, sonic, final fantasy, Mega-Man, and Castlevania. I added up all the games and it is correct at 6811 games. Pretty good deal for 58 dollars.

Battery doesn’t last
If I could put zero stars I would! The device doesn’t hold charge, and the screen stays frozen every time I turn on the device.

Great buy!!!
My kids picked us up for my wife’s birthday and she’s not a big gamer, but fell in love with this thing. 10 out of 10 would recommend. It comes preloaded with all the games from a 90s kids childhood and is great for someone who wants to kill a little bit of time on the go

I have two - one works great, the other was DOA and I couldn't fix it.
AFAIK, this is no longer in production, and I want to point out that I have the "Plus" (not the 2024) version and it is fantastic. I didn't return the first OG unit I got because I wanted to tinker with it and see if I could fix it, and when I couldn't I bought a second one that works well. I'd give it 4 stars except for the QC issue on the first unit, and I want to be clear: I did NOT try to return it, so I have no issue with customer service positive or negative. I have a number of Anbernic devices, and all the rest are excellent in feel with decent quality in hardware terms, and improving software that was flaky when this unit was new.I was going to give this model away but decided to give a slightly lesser unit I will not name here (could be 36ish in nature:). That says something. I would not, however, buy another one, because I'd go for a more recent Anbernic unit.

A Pocketful of Nostalgia and Fun
The RG35XX Mini Retro Handheld Game Console has been an absolute delight and a trip down memory lane, especially for a former Pokémon enthusiast. I remember taking my gameboy advance to elementary school back in the day -- it's really brought back some core memories. Its vast library of 6831 built-in games, including beloved classics, ensures that I'm never short of entertainment options. If anything, I just wish the battery lasted a little longer. The sheer volume and variety of pre-installed games have kept me occupied, although I've read it's possible to add your own ROMs later too. The console's discreet carrying case is another standout feature. It allows me to indulge without drawing too much attention, which is ideal for those moments when I prefer to keep my inner nerd under wraps. In summary, the RG35XX Mini Retro Handheld Game Console is a superb blend of nostalgia, portability, and fun, making it a must-have for any retro gaming aficionado.

Fun while it lasted
had it for less than 2 months and it came with a lot of fun games, especially the Pokémon options, but after 6 weeks the screen started to have issues and at 7 weeks it no longer turned on.
