for 1996-2000 Honda Civic 4Dr Sedan | Mugen Style JDM ABS Plastic Primer Black Rear Trunk Lid Wing Spoiler

Initially I was fairly impressed although I did have my doubts about the plastic mounting brackets. They proved to be correct. I installed this on a pleasant warm afternoon and I was really happy about my handiwork. I noticed the brackets were under some tension as I snugged everything up but I would either have to modify my sheet metal or the mount brackets to have it sit flat-sheet metal was out of the question so I made my best attempt at getting the bolts evenly tightened. I decided I’d wait till morning and go for a ride and see how it felt first. When I walked out my door I thought at first somebody was playing a late April Fools prank as I noticed the spoiler just laying on the trunk lid. When I walked closer I found it looked like a bomb had gone off. The pieces and parts of the brackets were all lying there and examination revealed a change in temp, a strong breeze, SOMETHING made all 4 connectors decide to part from the body of the spoiler and the right side bracket broke into several pieces. In short this was a good idea and design executed very poorly. The mount brackets should be metal and the attachment points on the wing should be much much better enforced. UPDATE! An error on my part kept me from communicating my unhappiness with this thing. They immediately offered me a refund or replacement so I couldn’t be happier. I asked for the replacement and will be installing this wing again cuz darn it I like the way it looks! (and there are already holes in the trunk) I am going to design some better mounts out of aluminum(i accept full responsibility if it screws up this time) with rubber isolation mounts to the wing to allow it to flex with the effect of wind and temperature changes-it can be 90 degrees in the shade in the afternoon and 5 below by 3AM up here in the Treasure State. I want this car being enjoyed in another 20 years! I will post new photos when I am through with paint. I’m doing the bumper covers black with the black door protectors, black wing and black drip-shields over side windows she should look distinctive.

Looks amazing on my 00 sedan just completely changes the car bolts up to factory bolt holes if you dont have a factory wing theres dimples on the trunk on the inside no measuring required

I love the way it looks and the spoiler fit as if it was oem...but I had to buy replacement stands after the first ones broke in under a month... and the replacement stands lasted only 3 days... waste of $190....if the stands were a better plastic or metal I wouldn't have been making this review...

This was an easy install that made my car stand out amount other civic. This company did right by me and I recommend other people buying the same product
