The fit & finish of both BPS knives I own are good! The knives are sharp, feel good in hand and look nice! The sheath's are of the highest quality! It's apparent upon inspection, that BPS Knives are made with pride, and are an extreme Value!

I order a couple of these after reading reviews from others on the sheath quality. They are extremely affordable knives and figured I could use the sheaths with other knives I have that are just not up to snuff. When I received the knife I was amazed of the quality of the sheath hands down just this is worth double their selling price! The knife is basic and very functional very sharp out of the box. Been carrying it and using it for the past week very impressive today the least. Easy to sharpen light weight and cuts like a champ. Edges are a little square along the spine and handle I just sanded them down a tad to my liking. Definitely going to keep these in rotation! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a solid simple basic light weight functional knife that won’t break the bank. I’ve bought a couple so far and will be looking at other models soon.

The knife arrived as a finished and complete package. It is not a perfect knife, but it absolutely exceeds its value in this price range. The carbon steel is basic, it did start to patina and discolor from being handled relatively quickly. The sheath that comes with it is a very nice quality of leather and fits the knife perfectly and holds up to carry.BPS delivers quality knives at an attainable price point and this one is no exception.

Very good knife at good price that can be made into great knife. I took the scales off, sanded the sharper edges off and put on several coats of tung oil. Before reattaching I filed and sanded the spine and tang to take off the sharp edges. Leather sheath is very good. Tight, but loosens up over time.

Awesome knife, razor sharp out of the box, great leather sheath, like it so much I bought the carbon steel variant a few weeks later. You won’t be disappointed, for the price I don’t think you would find a better example, the sheath is worth the price!

The blade height on this thing just feels really disproportionate to the rest of the knife. I had to send it back, it was just a weird feeling in my hand.The scalloped finger positions didn't work for me either. I found them to be uncomfortable and restricting.

Every part of this knife and sheath are extremely well constructed, especially at this price point, and I love the feel of it in my hand. I bought this as a field knife for camping and haven't put it to much use yet, but I did need to file down some of the "unfinished"/90 degree edges on the jimping and lanyard loop so as to avoid unnecessary friction and injury. I also purchased the high carbon steel version, so I oiled and waxed the wooden handle, blade and sheath to seal everything from water and oxidation. I may remove the handle and perform a "protective oxidization" of the full blade and tang in the future. Will write back if I have any issues with usage, holding a blade etc.

This is the 8th Knife bought from BPS Knifes. 5 different styles and planning on getting the rest of the BPS carbon blade Knifes being sold on Amazon as of now. Have bought more than just one of each Knife bought because I like the style and feel when holding it in my hand. I understand this brand Knife is not for everyone. I have paid up to $200 and over for other bushcraft style Knifes and they say you get what you pay for. I feel I got a great deal. Wont be breaking rocks or splitting small logs with the BPS Knifes but they do what I need them to do and if I do break one or loose one I wont get that sick feeling in my gut. Lots of Knifes out there you can get that feel like a porch but I am old school and just want a Knife that works for me. The Knifes come supper sharp and ready to use out of the plan jane box. No supper pretty mount on the shelf box. The leather sheaths are supper nice and will last many many years of hard use. Real leather not cheap plastic looking leather as I have got with other Knifes I have bought with more expensive Knifes. First thing I do is put a patina on the complete knife blade removing the walnut scales / handles from the Knife and soaking it in white Vinegar for a couple hours. Blade gets a nice gray color that I like and keeps the knifes from rusting. Again there are a lot better knifes out there. At $40 dollars maybe not.
