Biodegradable ??
I got these back in March of 2021, and used them the same weekend they arrived. After all the rains we had in my area this past winter, we lost a lot of top soil in our yard that uncovered the stakes from 2+ years ago. I wasn't expecting them to dissolve over night or anything, but after 2+ years, I would expect them to look a bit different from when they were used, but nope, once they were rinsed off, they still look brand new, no signs of breaking down.

Green plastic garden stakes
I found these to be easy push into different textures of ground, both softer and more hard. None broke in the process although I was careful to apply pressure evenly.

Fairly easy to break if you happen to hit a rock. Work fine if no rocks.
Fairly easy to break if you happen to hit a rock. Product won't bend around a rock as well as thinner metal landscape staples do. If you try moderate force to accomplish full installation with rock in the way they will break leaving a sharp edge exposed. metal staple bends and flattens in similar circumstances.

Must have for a high tunnel user!
These are a perfect replacement for the ones I usually buy from greenhouse supply companies. Great deal

Solid stakes
I used the stakes to pin a germination blanket over a trench i dug in my yard. After putting topsoil i reseeded the trench. They seem pretty solid and holds the seed germination blanket in place. Only time will tell how long they will biodegrade. But overall a solid product for the price point. I would recommend it for any landscaping project.

Not sturdy
Our soil is hard shale, very rocky. These did not work for us. They were not sturdy enough for our needs.

Good value
I got 75 of them and now I need to find a use for about 50. I'm sure over time I'll find uses. I'm finding the stakes sturdy. They go into the ground nicely and accomplish their goal of holding down irrigation lines.I don't see a con here.
