Works well, easy to use!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:We’ve enjoyed making our own sparkling water at home with this carbonator. It’s a nice slim design that doesn’t take up much space on the counter and works well. I think we’ll save money in the long run and will buy less la croix and other bubbly water - a fresh squeeze of lemon, lime or orange is just a good!

Simple design, easy to use
Simple mechanical design, no batteries or other nonsense. The large gas button is nice and the overall design looks good. I prefer this design over the soda stream and drinkmate options I've used previously.Phillips > drinkmate > sodastream3x solid blasts on ice-cold water carbonates just right for soda. 2x is all that's needed for a lighter carbonation for lemonade or lemon/lime water. I highly recommend buying a home refill kit and refilling your own CO2 canisters off a larger 10lb tank. I use leftover drinkmate and sodastream canisters.

Very disappointed.
I bought this item and was very happy with it for about a month. After that for no apparent reason it started getting harder to lock the bottle in place until it got to a point that it became impossible to lock the bottle.Contacted Philips Customer Service and they sent me a new device.Everything seemed fine, when the same thing happened again, even quicker this time, it worked for about 3 weeks.I regret purchasing this device and do not recommendat all.

Leaking gas from second week due to poor quality control on Philips water bottle oring size.
Philips sparkling water maker has been leaking gas after 5 days. After an investigation was discovered that the two Philips additional bottle cups orings were stick inside the sparkling water maker top, where the bottle tops and were missing from the two additional water bottle cups. Suspected wrong oring size used on the Philips bottle.

Much better than Soda Stream version
This is so much nicer than the official soda stream version. The build quality is much nicer and it looks a lot sleeker in the kitchen. I also like how the CO2 container attaches, it's a much better design than the soda stream one.

Easy to use
Easy to use, super easy to load with new canisters as well! Definitely love it more than my previous machines that needed to be plugged in

Goes Thru a Refill Very Fast
This machine seems to use a refill canister very very quickly. With my older machine I could press it and hold for a count of 8 and the canister lasted for a long time, but this machine seems to go through the gas in 2 weeks or less. It should last a lot longer I think. Anyone else seem to notice this?
