This harness has been amazing for my dog Milo. He was unfortunately hit by a car last month and as of now doesn't have movement of his back legs. His doctor says to give Milo time to heal and he should get movement back there again. Milo loves to be outside and going for walks was his joy so for that to be taken away, it was tough to watch. I had to come up with something to help remind Milo how BLESSED and fortunate he was to even still be here. I had to lift his spirits. I starting pricing pet wheelchairs and they are pretty EXPENSIVE (for me). Then I found on Amazon these harnesses I could use instead and afford. It was trial and error on a few orders. Then I ran across this harness and with a few minor adjustments I've made to keep Milo secure (I added a strap that I cris cross around Milo's neck and hook it to metal loops on the harness so he can't slide out and I criss crossed the leg straps which were too big even after adjusting), it has been the most Motivating, Inspiring, and Hopeful item I've ever purchased. Its building strength in his back legs from our walks and has given Milo his happy playful energy back. Little by little he's getting feeling in his feet and tail and this is from our walks to the park, massages, and being outside again. MOVEMENT IS A MUST! Milo loooooves to see the harness come out. His excitement motivates me to make sure we walk, run, play in the grass, bark at other dogs as much as possible so Milo can get on his feet again. I'll do an update post as time goes on. Milo will be 1 in September so we're hoping he'll be walking on his back legs by then. Keep him in prayer and Thank you

I was amazed it fit my great parinease dog of 88 pounds . She can no longer use back leg due to cancer and helps me tremendously moving her and letting her try to walk. Great purchase for our needs.

This is a great idea, but basically unusable for me. You can't leave it on your dog, because the straps you use to hold them up are permanently attached with no way to tuck them in or remove & re-add them.It would be perfect if the straps had those plastic clips to very easily clip the straps back on when you need to use it. Otherwise, my dog can't drag herself around with her front legs with the back straps laying everywhere, she trips on them. Even if she wasn't moving around at all, it didn't seem very comfortable for her to lay on them.

This product is a very good idea and should have worked well; however, following my disasterous experience with it, I must comment. I checked the sizing carefully, measuring doggy and looking at chart. When item arrived, there were no instructions but I remembered the video on Amazon so I watched it. This harness really does require the dog to be standing upright to put it on -- Which My Dog Couldn't Do and that's why I was getting it to help her get around! It was tough putting it on because she couldn't stand up. I noted the size received was indeed what I ordered but it wasn't nearly like the picture because the material in the harness only went up barely half each side which didn't lend much support. Plus leaving it on the dog didn't work because she would crawl right out of it and I was back to square one getting it back on her. With not enough material to support both sides of her body when we walked together, and not fashioned to stay put while on the dog when laying down, this harness turned out to be a miserable failure.

This is the third harness I have bought for my dog with paralyzed back legs and it is the best by far! It actually goes more around the waste and fits the legs in a more natural position so my dog is supported all the way when she stands. The other harnesses for around the legs and presses her stomach and lifts the legs uncomfortably.

This item is no where close as picture shows. It only goes four inches from hip to abdomen. Not where I needed her support to be as she's a big dog. I'll find something else
