UPDATE:I'm updating my review to give this five stars now. I removed the silicone ring that is around the edge of the lid, and without any change to the basic preparation (barley flakes, water, a handful of nuts and bit of dried fruits, a bit of butter), no more boiling up over the lid.Very very happy with it now.PREVIOUSLY:I like the glass and that I'm not cooking directly in plastic, although there's still a bit of silicone on the rim of the lid. It was threatening to boil over despite only a small amount of rolled barley flakes being cooked and I did use a little bit of butter eo help with the foaming and flavor.However, the tall sides around the lid to keep it from spilling over. It really just needs a small hole or notch in the lid to cook more neatly, just like the majority of the plastic microwave rice cookers on the market.That said, it was very easy to clean, and the glass Feel solid and sturdy. I expect it will last well like like my Hario teapots.

Rice does not cook right in the center being hard where as the rest cooked okay. If I add more water to make rice softer in the center then overflow quite a lot. It splashes to te ceiling of the microwave. I have to clean the microwave each time I order to have rice in the of the pot.

手順を守ればご飯は美味しく炊ける。問題は蓋や取っ手が熱いこと。急いでるときに素手でレンジから出せないしご飯も混ぜられない。

耐熱ガラスなので重いとは思ってました。蓋に付属されている蓋の縁についているゴムを毎回洗うのは良いのですが、安定が少し悪く感じます。ご飯は、美味しく炊けていると思います。

これまでは１００円ショップで売っていたプラスチック製のものを使っていましたが、デザインの美しさに惹かれて購入しました。ガラスぼ器と蓋だけのシンプルな構造ですが、吹きこぼれもせず美味しく炊き上がります。但し、大きい！寸法は確認して購入したのですが、思って以上に存在感があり収納に場所をとります。いっそのことと思い食器棚の上に飾るように置くことにしました。

ご飯を炊くと、凄くぬめりが多く噴き出し、使い終わった時に掃除が大変。特に蓋の周囲のシリコン？を外して乾かして再装着してというのが意外と大変。一合だけのために、これが大変。そして事前に米を水に浸しておかねば、コワいご飯になってしまう。ふっくら柔らかというわけにいかない。つまり、すぐにご飯が欲しい時にはあまり役立たない。で、今は普通に炊飯器で三合ぐらい炊いている。人によってはこういう手間がいいということもあるかも。

1カップ分の無洗米を炊きました。浸水時間は一晩。初回使用時、600W×10分で炊いたところ、レンジ内が汚れることはなかったものの、蓋の上に少しだけ吹きこぼれたお米がついていました。そこで、2回目使用時は、500W×12分に設定。吹きこぼれることなく、炊くことが出来ました。普段は、ストウブの鍋や土鍋でご飯を炊いていますが、忙しい朝など、途中で火加減を見る必要がないレンジ炊飯は、とても便利です。但し、600W×10分の場合も、500W×12分分の場合も、鍋の中央と外で若干炊きムラがあったため、⭐ひとつマイナスとしました。
