Handy little bit of kit
Got this thinking it would "do for now" and have been pleasantly surprised. Has good current, welds really well and has truly made me think twice about spending more on a larger one as it does the job perfectly. Very happy with it.

Handy little welder complete with storage bag
ROJOO ZX7-200 Inverter Welding Machine Stick WelderI have to admit it's been quite a few years since using an arc welder, I have since moved over to using mig for the past 20-30 years. This compact little arc welder is clearly designed for home use, any serious welder would need a more professional machine. That being said, if you need a welder at home for just the occasional welding of low gauge mild steel, then this is probably quite a capable machine. The welder is supplied neatly packed inside it's own cloth zip up bag. Welder, cables, mask and cleaning tool all fit neatly inside. Sadly no electrodes were provided so I have been unable to test out it's performance, the electrodes I had have been long gone. I'm sure a small pack of electrodes could have been included to get you started, but no.The build quality of this looks decent, the welder is made from metal with an attractive lime green finish. The power cable is a good length but does have a 2 pin euro connector on the end, a UK 3 pin convertor plug is included. The electrode and earth cables too are quite thick and of a decent length. The earth clamp is made from copper plated metal which may corrode over time if left in a damp garage? The clamp is powerful and should provide a good earth on bare metal. The electrode holder is also substantial and provides a good solid grip on the electrodes. On the front of the welder is a power dial with a small display panel next to it, this welder is capable of anywhere between 20-200 amps of welding power.Overall this appears well made and of decent quality. For the asking price I would say this is good value for money, although as mentioned I have been unable to test this as no electrodes are included.CONTENTS:1 x Welder1 x Welder Handle1 x Handheld Eye Protector1 x UK Plug Convertor1 x Wire Brush/Hammer2 x Cables1 x User GuideThank you for reading my review, I hope you have found it helpful.

Fantastic Little Welder
The media could not be loaded. Great little, surprisingly powerful arc welder, very compact and super lightweight, and even includes a few accessories and a neat little carry case. The build quality of the machine itself seems brilliant, the exterior is all metal so should be pretty durable all the cables are quite thick and of a good length and the clamps are strong. The mask and brush/hammer tool are a little basic but do the job.The screen is easy to read and the variable amperage is brilliant as you can make fine adjustments to the power. Brilliant value and very portable.

Compact little unit. Good 'first time' welder
Ordered this to possibly get back into being able to weld basic things (angle iron brackets etc).Honestly I haven't struck an arc in about 40 odd years so the pic attached is my first attempt (don't judge too harshly please :) ) this is on an old brake disc. The kit comes with the basics and yes it is the basics, its very small/compact and will happily sit on most workbenches, the cables are just adequate if you don't have a metal workbench and need to clamp the metal direct, it comes with a small shield and the welding glass is just clipped in (slightly loose but no light shows around the edges. There is a mini chipping tool/wire brush which just about does the jobI have to say I was rather impressed, I managed to maintain an arc and there was very little spatter, I just ran 1 rod out (3.2mm '6013' rod) and machine was still cool (it has a cooling fan on the rear).I suppose I'm really recommending this for a beginner/practice as I don't have much knowledge of the penetration/strength of joints etc (from watching tutorial vids).A minor downside is that it comes with a 2 pin plug and a UK adaptor ( I will probably cut the cable and put a proper 3 pin plug on it).Its a shame it didn't come with a couple of rods included.Overall I would recommend this as a beginner (stick) welder its relatively cheap, no gas to worry about, portable and stores away in its own carry case.I may add to this as my use of it continues.
