Can I use them on faux leather?

Yes you could , I don’t know how successful it would be , definately worth a try , as they work on most surfaces ! I’ve used them on leather sandals , it wore off in time but was still ok !

Will these work on glass jam jars?

They have worked well on china mugs. I would practice on various materials. They also work well on textured artists paper. Good luck
