Q: Will the padlock weather easily and is it suitable for my house's side gate?

I have this on my side gate and have had no problems since purchased in 2016. no sign of rust weathered well over winter and regularly used.

Q: What is the clearance on the inside of the shackle. I have a heavy duty cable to loop through it. It is to large for most shackles.

My Master padlock is not the one illustrated. Mine is black rubber externally. It’s clearance is rectangular 2cm by 3.5 cm internally
